Mr Brown's in Carlisle

So my partner and I decided to come here for breakfast. We are not known to the area we were staying in a cottage for a few days and needed some breakfast. We came across this cafe in a quiet little village and decided to pop in.The staff are lovely and friendly, we were sat at the front right next to the fridge display, which ...yes was a bit cold sitting there, but nothing a quick scootch over didn't fix. I ordered a big breakfast and a hot chocolate. To my amazement the biggest of hot chocolates arrived, complete with all the trimmings of marshmallows sprinkles etc 😋.The breakfast itself was very nice, although I think the sausages were a little over cooked it didn't stop me eating them all. I really enjoyed the food there and so did my partner, the girls on the shop floor were whizzing around trying to get the food out on time to everyone.... it wasn't unnoticed girls. Thanks 😊

Nice cafe ...Menu includesCofee , cakes , sandwiches, rolls , juice and soup etc ... Perfect coffee and tasty and tasty cake...Indoor and outdoor seating available... Toilets facilities available... Friendly staff ... Excellent Service...

I often say you can't recommend somewhere any more than to keep going back. And we go back to Me Browns everytime we are in the area.Staff were happy to knock something off menu up for our children.Lovely staff, great food. Recommended!

Whenever I am near, always pop in. Homemade soup and sandwiches, great traybakes. Lovely people work here. Friendly to cyclists, you can sit in or out. Well worth making a detour to call. Or plan your route around Brampton.

Seating available upstairs and down. Choice of table and chair types including sofas. Table service. Offering a range of lite bites, sandwiches, and breakfasts. Cakes, scones, and pies available be sure to check out the daily options at the counter downstairs when you arrive. Good selection of drinks including speciality teas. Friendly and helpful staff too. The toilet is upstairs, clean and well looked after. Perfect for catching up with friends or as a treat.

Had a lovely bite to eat with good service and nice surroundings. The Eggs Benedict was particularly amazing and served as a gluten free options too. Good gluten free cake options also, will definitely visit again.

Absolutely brilliant service! We were visiting Slaggyford and dropped in to Brampton for the afternoon. I suffer with a lactose allergy and asked if they had lacto free cheese. They didn't but they would not accept that I just have beans with my jacket potato. The chef sent out someone to get lacto free cheese for me. Food preparation didn't take more than expected and it was delicious 😋. The next time we are up we will definitely drop in again. Thanks guys and girls ☺.
