Only pub that doesn't have Guinness but at least it's got a nice atmosphere and friendly staff

Daniel the waitor was very nice patient and informative. If visiting Carlisle we'll worth a visit just to find out where else you want to go.

Open Mind changed a lot over the past 18 months, trading the noisy DJ party atmosphere for a quieter more relaxed feel. Serves a limited menu of food (hot dogs, Nachos etc) and even has a few craft beer cans available as well as various cocktails, vast amount of spirits and a more continental selection of keg beers. Nice to visit after work on a Saturday night.

Sat upstairs as instructed by staff, then waited 15 minutes to be served. They had forgotten about us. Loaded nachos weren't very nice.

One of my favourite bars in Carlisle. Watch the world go by from the comfort of a pint or hot drink! They do good food too. Nice friendly staff. Cheers!

Lovely place... Really pleasant and welcoming staff.... Food not to my taste, but that's a personal opinion.Definitely a place worth socialising with friends.

The jaffa cake cocktail and black forrest cocktail are the most delicious drinks I have ever treated myself to.This gaffe is dog friendly and serves delicious food.Would defiantly recommend the chipotle chicken burritos.Friend staff and quick service.This place is absolutely perfect for cheeky cocktails with a friendly safe atmosphere.I recommend the jaffa cake cocktail, it actually taste like a jaffa cake.

Service shocking. No engagement on asking about drinks. Just pointed to menu rather than explaining. Been before when a lovely young lady served us. Had cosmopolitan. Not done as should be with orange. Thin white does better. Easy to see why no one in. Won't be back

Every single time I've been here, it's been friendly, welcoming and had a wonderful atmosphere. Downstairs they have a dj booth and area for a band and upstairs a room of armchairs and sofas full of nooks and crannies for chats and catch ups. Love it.Edit: we ate here and it's incredible. Really, really good food, homemade soup to die for.
