Rahi at the Waterloo in Carlisle

After a long Covid enforced absence, the Aglionby Curry Club returned to Khan's. Almost 40 of us from the village descended on the restaurant in Monday night. What a welcome, and what a great experience to be back together again. Khan's is undoubtedly the best Indian restaurant in Carlisle, and as always, our welcome was outstanding. The food is fantastic, and the choice and quality of the dishes is superb.The service is personal, friendly and excellent. It really was a delight to be spoilt, and to enjoy the fabulous food and service at Khan's once again.

Called in on spec tonight whilst travelling up to Scotland. Food (Onion Bhajis followed by Chicken Tilka Jalfrezi) was superb and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Would definitely eat here again and would recommend. Just wish I’d skipped lunch so I could have finished it.

Wonderful food, wonderful staff and wonderful environment. Always a nice experience when going to dine in.

This was my third visit for a sit in meal and again the food was lovely even my teenage son commented on the food being good. My only small criticism was the temperature of the restaurant itself being a bit cool but we were there early doors so it probably didn't have enough time to warm up.

Always fantastic food. We were lucky to get in at short notice, these guys and girls are always busy. If you can't get a seat book a takeaway.

Thank you again for being so nice when my young granddaughter was ill tonight. Once again another amazing meal, we all enjoyed it.

The service and the food where out of this world! I highly recommend this place to anyone. Definatly the best in the Carlisle area!!

Beautiful food and fantastic service in the restaurant. I definitely recommend booking so you don't end up being disappointed. Lots of variety for everyone on the menu too. 2 curries, 2 rice, a naan and 4 poppadoms for £40 isn't bad at all!

Very very nice meal with super friendly staff. Best to book but they will seat you if there is room. Family business showing others how its done. Well worth a visit.

Visited Khan's on our mini-moon and we couldn't fault the place. Easy to find and great parking. The staff were absolutely amazing and made our visit comfortable and enjoyable. The food was perfect and one of the best Indians we've had! Would highly recommend to everyone!
