Amazing food, equally amazing staff

We were running late to find a spot for quick dinner in Carlisle and managed to locate a parking spot and Gianni's pretty much at the same time.Staff checked with the chef to see if they could servr 2 more diners before closing. All okay and we were seated. We ordered sharpish as we were aware of the time. Food was fresh and served quickly.We had a lovely chat with the owner's daughter and the staff were also very engaging. Apparently Gianni's has been running for 3 decades and the photos around the restaurant documents its history and all the fun revellers have had down the years at Gianni's.

Always great service, brilliant food! Lovely and interactive with my toddler son! my husband has been coming here since he was a toddler too.

We had a lovely meal and extremely helpful staff who made you feel very welcome. Good value for money and we really enjoyed our evening meal.

Incredible meal! Fresh and delicious food. They always have new and fantastic specials. Amazing staff, always so friendly. Very authentic Italian restaurant experience, feels like a holiday away from the usual every time.

Great tasty freshly made food in friendly atmosphere ,the lasagne is well nice best in town!good value.

My first ever visit to giannis.Walking in to the restaurant made me feel like I was back In the beautiful country of Italy. The decor was amazing lots of beautiful images and information about Italy all over the walls, had an amazing sense of family feel to the place. Very clean throughout.From start to finish every member of staff were absolutely fantastic very polite helpful and to top it off amazing with our little girl.We didn't have to wait long at all for our starters to arrive and the same for our main course. The food was absolutely fantastic!! (Credit to the chief)We will definitely be returning.Thank you to all the wonderful staff members.Would highly recommend booking a table!

Could do with a face lift, food very basic, no flavour, my husbands pizza was dry, didn't ask us if we would like black pepper or cheese over our mains.... waiting staff very polite. Also my dessert was served with a teaspoon 🤣 there is nicer Italian nearby!!!!

29/07/2021After we have been sent away from 3 different restaurant (all said they are closing) they welcomed us as good friends, and however the kitchen would have close in 7 minutes, they took our order, and treated us as valued guests.We haven't been rushed, and everybody was really friendly.Very unfortunate that we find this treasure box on our last evening.The food is excellent,Warm hospitality,We only can recommend.😘
