Scotch Arms Mews in Carlisle

We visited Brampton Cumbria in June 2022 to attend a Sports event.I stayed at the Scotch Arms Mews because I had stayed there before and was very satisfied with my stay.Excellent service and rooms with a packed Breakfast provided to take to the event on the Saturday and a Full Breakfast on the Sunday. Lovely atmosphere and very attentive service from the Proprietor, Dianne.

Wonderful host, clean and comfortable rooms, lovely breakfast and good location. Nice communal space to relax. Would definitely book again!

Stayed here on a cycling trip and booked all but one of the rooms. A very welcoming host, we enjoyed the guest lounge/bar area, fabulous breakfast and the room was great and very comfortable.

We booked the whole place for a family get together and have all had an amazing time. The house is so well equipped and there was more than enough space for 14 adults. The owner was so friendly and helpful. Also there are some lovely walks straight from the house. Will definitely recommend

Lovely place. We'll proportioned rooms. Clean and tidy. Had the full place to ourselves and felt it was more than required. Perfect getaway

This is a lovely B&B . Fresh decoration, sympathetic restoration keeping the character of the place shining through. The annex was clean today and well appointed,Breakfast was superb and the hostess and team were excellent - definitely worth staying here

Excellent place to stay. Beautifully set-out town cottage. Well furnished with a lovely cottage feel and a kitchen that has everything you need, whether your just want make light snack or a full evening meal. Dianne and Colin are excellent hosts and make you feel right at home straight away. My two kids didnt want yo leave and we will definitely be back.

Denise and the team were very welcoming and helpful. The room we stayed in was lovely. Breakfast was fab. There was a relaxing lounge area-which even our walking boots could enjoy as they sat by the fire!
