Thank you for a fantastic evening. We arranged our Christmas meal here for North Cumbria Rescue and Response Team, having visited in the past for a drink.From first contact, Mandy was really friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a relaxed, traditional christmas meal with options to suit everyone. Good food, good beer, good craic. And having a juke box is so much better than a TV.Thanks again & see you soon

Really lovely old pub, fab character, and a warm and friendly atmosphere. Landlady was very welcoming and gave us some good history on the pub, (it is the oldest in Carlisle) Loved it! Drinks reasonably priced. Will definitely be back. Love John and Kath from Newcastle 😍

Friendly pub opposite St Cuthbert's church. The food is homemade and the beer very good.
