Whilst the lasagne was delicious, the takeaway menu on the website described it as: lasagne with chips and veg £10.25. In reality, I was charged £12 and there were no veg with it. Rather misleading - get the website updated!!

Excellent dining experience. Superior to a similar nearby establishment. Food was delightful and plentiful. The whole company left with full stomachs having enjoyed ourselves. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Would eat there again when in the area. Five star dining.

Very nice place with good very food. The only negative for me was that there was quite a wait for the meal but they were busy. However,would visit again.

Most of meal was OK except for carrots and peas. Under cooked and bland. Visited on a Saturday evening, there was a poor dog tied up barking it's head off outside, we asked to be moved into main area as the dog was so noisy and were told it belongs to a regular customer who does that all the time! Poor dog so unfair.

Pub Grub, pile it high. Go there if you have a large appetite but not if you are looking for something a little different or contemporary.Pleasant, clean decor etc, friendly staff. Not my cup of tea but by no means one to avoid. If you like hearty helpings from a fairly standard menu then you will like this place.

Some of the tastiest turkey ever plus a good plateful of veg and roasts! We always buy a turkey crown from Pioneer, their parent company. Order at the bar and choose a pudding from the serving area. Great value for a 2 course Christmas meal.

A fantastic place, discovered when the Border Astronomical Society had their 2019 dinner there. Food is wholesome and British. My favourite is the Lakeland Beef. Christmas set menu is great value. Staff are professional and pleasant. I go at least once a month.
