Walked in to a friendly welcome . I enquired about the food on offer and with a smile I got the full list of ingredients from a very proud fryer. Sold and it was delicious all boxed for me to return to my truck for a feast. I will certainly remember them when next overnight in Carlisle.

Brilliant - nothing at all I can fault. Fantastic food & pleasant staff, the click and collect service is the icing on the cake. Probably the best Fish and Chip shop in Carlisle.

Gorgeous food every time we go, the fish and chips is absolutely amazing! Not greasy and cooked to perfection, also great value. All the staff are always so welcoming and friendly when I go to pick my food up. Definitely worth a visit!

Although I live in Fife am originally from Brampton. Down for the day visiting the area and family. On the way home we fancied a chippy, came across the Friery, first time in it and would definitely use it again. Friendly staff and good and quick service. Had the Cod and chips, both were plentiful and freshly cooked. Great chippy. Thoroughly enjoyed our fish and chips.

Very nice. Had the full sized fish and chips, cooked fresh to order (tell them before you queue). They do a variety of items, including a very reasonably priced small portion of fish and chips with peas. Very popular, which speaks volumes. Spotlessly clean. A little parking nearby.
