Recently come under new management and they appear to have done very well indeed with it.Kept the bar area pretty much as it was which is a very pleasant and welcoming sight.Slightly rearranged seating giving a small "snug" like area adjacent to the bar and a very nice lounge area which I found most relaxing.Restaurant too has been upgraded allowing a little more capacity.Eaten there once already (Beef olives. Got to be tried to be believed) and found the fare to be excellent.I'll certainly be going back for more.Local and very good ales served throughout but also serves very good coffee and I daresay tea too if requested.Thoroughly recommend.

Great food in lovely cozy surroundings. Went for Sunday lunch and it tasted lovely and they also cater very well for children. Highly recommended.

Eaten here a few times lately, and it is now established amongst my firm favourites.Corby ales, brewed across the road, are always spot on wherever I've tried them, and no exception here. Can't fault the food. People in our parties have probably tried everything on the menu by now, and I haven't heard a bad word. The current proprietors are getting it right.I hope they stick around.

Absolutely DELICIOUS food and great ambience. Thoroughly enjoyed our early evening meal and my cheese souffle starter was soooo good. We're back again on Thursday evening for more delicious offerings and the staff (especially our host Michael) were all super friendly and attentive even though the place was really busy (always a good sign). Of all the places we've dined (in our 7 day trip), this is our favourite. Try the cheese souffle starter, you won't be disappointed.

Came her with a party of 9 and we all loved the food. Even the vegetarian option is well thought out and full of flavour. The fish and chips was very good and so were the deserts. The food was definitely worth the wait as it took a while to have our order taken but it wasn’t a problem. The staff were nice and helpful and the beer from the local brewery was fantastic! Can’t wait to come again!
