Yummys Chinese takeaway in Carlisle

Long take away order was all correct which was great! Pretty decent Chinese food overall. Loved the mini curry samosas best.

Luke warm and dry with no taste.... Use to be good food.

Waited almost 2hrs for it to arrive! Was cold! Duck portion was very small! Beef tasted rank in chow mein! Poor quality and over priced!

Very good food, fresh vegetables and the noodles were lovely. Chicken was nice, and the order didn't get to us cold, still hot. Enjoyed the meal.

We had Lemon chicken and Sweet and sour chicken both with fried rice. The portion amount for both was fair as was the price of £15 for both meals. Both chicken meals were tasty however the rice was a bit clumpy but was ok. Staff were pleasant and have a good Covid system in place for ordering and collection. I'd happily visit again when in the area. A good location especially if staying at the Central Travelodge like us.

It took 1h 45 minutes to deliver a meal. The shop staff were rude and unhelpful, finding it difficult to apologise or give reason. The food was poor to average, bulked with carrots and not tasty. I cannot recall an experience as bad ordering food in Carlisle. PLEASE AVOID, LIFE IS TOO SHORT!

Food is great, staff at the front are helpful and friendly, delivery drivers are top, but what let's the place down is the constant shouting at the staff, coming from the kitchen. The chef is an absolute tool. We've had many takeaways which have been great, but after going in to collect my meal tonight and hearing how disrespectful the chef is, to the staff. I think I'll stick to delivery. Probably would have given 5 stars before going in. Better food than most other Chinese takeaways in town.

Ordered a carry out at 5 05 pm on Sat....eventually arrived at 6.35...we were the last of 4 deliveries...the food was warm even tho it was delivered in heat proof plastic containers which are supposed to guarantee hot food...we also ordered a portion of chips that arrived in a paper bag that were cold ! We contacted Yummy's to complain...they offered us another portion of chips which we refused....the order came to over £20....the meal ended up in the bin as it was inedible...I hope that future customers are not last on the delivery run and considering delivery is £1.50 per customer it is a Yummy's profit making exercise at the expense of the customer...pure and simple....we will NOT be using Yummy's in the future !!!

Working down here and i fancied chicken curry with chips, so i order at the counter athe chips were crispy enough which is good , the curry sauce had peas some sliced carrot and enough onions through it ,with sliced chicken breast . It was very tasty. I would recommend that. I'll try the satay next time . V G
