Had an amazing time here for a recent family birthday. Great atmosphere, lovely staff, gorgeous food (I'm veggie and there was plenty of options for me.) Can't wait to go back. Thanks again! π

Tucked away in the back streets of Macclesfield It's one of those places you promise yourself you'll try.....one day. Well we actually got around to and it was a great idea. Firstly it's Tiny maybe seat 12 people at tables so best booking. Secondly service was amazing one server run ragged but none the less as effecient as she was lovely. Thirdly the food was great small tapas style plate of yummy ness cooked by a chef virtually right in front of you. Salt and pepper sausage recommended but everything was good!

UNREAL! Just had the most amazing meal here whilst staying at the Tytherington club. The reviews on TripAdvisor sold it to us, based on the service and quality of food that was definitely missing at the hotel...Half an hour walk from the hotel, fantastic range of drinks, PHENOMENAL food and above all, the best service ever from Mike and the waitress (forgot to get her name π)The restaurant is really small, and it was a Wednesday, so we were the only people in the restaurant and Mike chatted away to us over the pass the whole time, whilst preparing our food there and then. We basically had a private chef! The charcuterie board was SO good, the focaccia was a standout as was the mozzarella, the little touches of capers dotted throughout, those lemon olives... actually all of it π Garlic mushrooms with cream and blue cheese are to die for, as were the garlic and chilli prawns, in fact even the SALAD was phenomenal!Standards were kept high with the panacotta and rum soaked pineapple and whilst we are on a booze theme...this guy can make a mean mojito ! Even the beers we started off with were local and delicious!I cannot reccomend this place enough! My only fault is that I Iive 400 miles away here and can't be a regular.

We had a great night. The food was brilliant and the service was excellent. There was lots of choice on the menu plus a good specials board. I can't say that I've had a better night out.

A cosy little restaurant with a genial atmosphere and the best food I have had for a long time. Aquila is definitely the tastiest Tapas in the area. Mike is just lovely and took the time to chat with us after our meal. We even had little Baileys shots. We'll definitely be revisiting! There are just a few tables so booking is recommended.
