Very, very good, indeed. Well prepared and cooked food. Very helpful staff. The only thing was that the portion sizes were way too big: ask for a child portion!

Food was ok. Pizza wasn't great can make better base at home with normal oven.Food wasn't terrible.... Wasn't great either.Can't recommend as their are do many other places driving better for for the price.Service was good staff were very friendly,Shame the food isn't quite up to it.

We only popped in for a drink and to use the loo whilst on a walk; however, the staff were lovely and the restaurant is beautifully presented. We'll happily be back to try the food.

Homey restaurant with comfort food! Although we were a big group of 10, service was brisk and we received our food quite quickly upon ordering. The vegetarian risotto I had was delightful and portion was hefty! A nice place for a group of friends or family.

Liked the retro booth seating and couldn't fault the food, portion sizes or speed of service. However, it could do with a bit of tlc as quite dusty and cobwebby and floor grubby. Also, I can't imagine that the music choice would be to many peoples taste as it was slow, piano jazz stuff. It wouldn't take much to bring it up to scratch as the old building, quirky seating and enviable canal side position are all big plus points. Would suggest that the parmesan is added to the meals at the table (as is usual) as being done so in the kitchen resulted in it being put onto the wrong meals.

Very nice pasta dishes. Needs the decor updating. Would go again.

I would just like say how friendly the staff are and its nice to see this restaurant open. Me and my wife just had the a mix starter it was delicious and just the right amount for two I am looking forward to the main course. I had seafood linguine which was in a rich creamy tomato sauce it was delicious my wife had chicken carbonara is was delicious. I would just like say how helpful Alex the waitress was thanks for the great meal
