Had a lovely lunch at this real ale pub. It has a good menu with lots of choice, lovely specials and a fab choice of curries. We sat surounded by the History of Bhurtpore and the pub. First class ale and food. Friendly staff. Has lots of seating both indoors and out. Will definitely return.

Been coming here for about 15 years now and it never fails to rank as one of my favourite pubs/restaurants. Firstly the choice of beer is fantastic, if you are a real ale drinker or a craft beer fan and enjoy German/Belgian beers then this place will be to your liking. The staff are lovely in there and the pub has a nice old world vibe to it. Lastly, the food is very and if you like curries then you have to try one from here as they are really good and a few good choices. Shoulder of lamb is amazing also. Worth a visit for drink or for food.

Huge selection of local beers, food is excellent, motorhomes welcome by prior arrangement and dog friendly.

Had such a lovely meal here tonight and I have to say that the food was lovely. Everyone loved there meals and the service from the staff was so friendly and very welcoming. We have been here a few times and just wanted a nice relaxing meal and that's what we got.

Lovely meal, give 5 stars as service was very slow, lamb wasnt very warm although the potatoes and veg were plenty warm enough. We were also told they only had 5.30pm but the restaurant wasnt busy at all. Not a complaint but just didnt see the reason why we couldnt come later.

Okay so the photo doesnt show much. Lovely country pub that frankly you could easily miss. Near to Hack Green nuclear bunker so a perfect stop if you have visited there. Lots a nooks and crannies to choose from, we sat in what looked like a garden room full of plants and interesting pictures about the Charge of the Light brigade.Reasonable and varied lunch menu, good range of ales and wines and very reasonably priced for Cheshire. Staff were friendly, service was prompt and the food was hot and well cooked.

Good old traditional pub , serving good old pub food and fine ales , had a Sunday roast , best I've had in years, doesn't try to be something it isn't, if you want posh go elsewhere, will be back again.

We stopped in there before our football game think there was 11 of us .we all had a lovely time with fantastic food drinks and the service was brilliant.

Popped in here today (NYE) after walking the dog. Had the best lasagne I've had in a long time. Partner had gammon. Definitely want to try the infamous curries on our next visit.

Lovely visit to the Bhurtpore. Wide range of food from curries through to more traditional fare plus a specials board. There's a good choice of veggie food too.Wide range of real ales with a handy list with descriptions placed around the pub. The ones we tasted were in great condition.
