Decent food, burger was spot on. No greasy pool of sweat dripping from the patty like other restaurants/pubs.Went on a weekday, didn't have to pre-book. Average price so not too bad. 5/5 would recommend

Always had good food here. Unfortunately on last occasion not good .overcooked chips overcooked onion rings soggy batter on fish. The chef shouldn't of sent it out ! Food was discounted tbf and the waitress was really nice and helpful. No apology from management. I will put it down to a bad day, we all have them.

The food here is reasonably priced, good menu options for meat eaters, ok for vegetarians but lacking options for vegans/plant based diners. There is literally 1 option of about 15 per course, although the beetroot and butternut squash wellington is delicious. The staff were friendly and the service speed was good. There is plenty of parking to the rear, an outdoor area for warmer days and a classic yet modern pub style inside. Would recommend, more for meat eaters and would be good to see more of those delicious plant based options on the menu.

Enjoyed the food and drinks there! The steak medium rare from the grill was awesome. The staff is very friendly and polite. Definitely will go back soon!

We were a party of 4 and called in at lunchtime on our way back to Derbyshire. The food was lovely, hot and well presented. We weren’t rushed to place our order and the staff were very friendly. I just wish I lived nearer!

Lovely Sunday visit today - the food was really nice but the service made the visit extra special. Thank you to our server Francesca a great team member and a credit to that business. .

I really like this pub, I much prefer the food to the other pubs I have tried in the same group, same menu just prepared better. The staff are lovely and hard working. Well worth our drive out from Wilmslow.

Excellent on Special Dietary Needs lunch. Adapted Sea Bass main. Had Vegan Coconut Ice cream n Raspberry Sorbet n Fresh Fruit. Helpful waiter Yang. Manager very informative on Special Dietary Needs.

Just popped in for a drink after a shopping trip. Lovely interior and staff were very friendly, menu looks good so we are hoping to go back and try the food soon. 👍

I was so impressed with this place. Gorgeous, excellent quality, well presented food. Charming staffas well as being reasonably pricedThey are really allergy aware, and take every precaution to help people safe.
