Church House Inn in Cheshire East

We stayed the night due to having no electricity at home because of the storm, the owners couldn’t have been any nicer, got us in at short notice and reserved us a table for food, the food was amazing my fish burger was out of this world. Such a lovely pub really welcoming and friendly, will definitely be going back.

Food was really good. The home made chips were perfect.Beer was really nice and well kept.Staff fantastic and friendly.Wife happy as they do custard with the sticky toffee pudding.Recommended.Thanks.

Just what you expect from a good British pub. Nice staff, good range of drinks, lots of classic food on the menu and great desserts! But for me the pleasant surprise was the quality of the pizzas. They were much better than every Italian restaurant back in my local town (even those owned by Italians dare I say!) - and I absolutely loved the Billy Goat pizza, it’s such a great combo for a veggie pizza as it’s much more interesting than the standard grilled vegetable options other places do.

Lunch not great I'm afraid. Just a panini, but waited 40 mins, and the pub wasn't busy. The panini was rock hard. Should have said something I know.

Wonderful pub, stopped here for food on Monday evening on a local recommendation and really glad we did. Some of the best food we’ve had in the area, amazing chips! Can’t recommend highly enough and landlord/locals were really friendly. Also, really reasonably priced, if you’re coming through bollington stop off here.

Whilst staying in the area and looking for somewhere to eat. I asked a local and they recommended The Church House Inn. So I called for a pint and a look at the evening menu. They do a light bite afternoon menu.Due to Corvid restrictions it was a bit limited but fine by me. I ordered a steak with trimmings. With a pint of real ale. The steak was cooked to perfection with real chips.A gem of a place with accommodation if needed. I came away happy.

We turned up on 21st may after almost a 6hr drive, booked online for B&B stay. Was told on arrival that they weren't taking bookings till June 21st & that they had told the online company loads of times as they were decorating the rooms. Long story short, Tracey & Dave (pub landlady/lord) sorted a room out for us & said they would try & find somewhere else for us in the morning if it wasn't suitable. Room not brilliant but Tracey, Dave & staff were excellent, food & drink excellent as well, enjoyed our 6 night stay.
