Amazing food, but don't expect it to arrive within an hour and a half. You'll maybe get your order in just under two hours, so if you want something quick this isn't for you. Ringing them to get an update on when the order will arrive doesn't really help as you typically get rushed off the phone without an answer. However, the food is definitely worth the wait (so long as they don't forget the drinks).Edit to add: when we do have problems, such as missing items. They have always jumped to fix the problem. They're a little stingy with the salt and vinegar, so we always ask for extra.

Horrible. Inedible chips and very old tough sausage.Gross.

Fabulous take away last night delivered ahead of schedule. The nicest chips I have had in a long time!

Brilliant food! Pizza was so much better than any we have had for a while including domino’s. Great delivery! Wings amazing! Well done guys! Loved it thank you so much.

2 hours after ordering chips, we still haven’t received them and they are closed...apparently they are still on their way, with, what I can only assume is cold food.Hopefully we can get our money back - will never use again.*Update - we did give them another try, the food was inedible and after leaving a review on just eat they chose to respond with rude comments totally ignoring our points - customer is apparently always wrong at this chippy.

Gross. The delivery driver didn't even acknowledge me, not a word. Then the chips arrived half cooked, still raw potatoes. The sausage was a weird colour. Went straight in the bin, didn't even dare feed it to my dogEDIT* In response to the owners comments: i didnt come back as the whole.point of me getting a takeaway was so it was a quick easy dinner. PLUS the way in which your delivery driver didnt even speak makes me wonder what kind of reception i would get in your shop. ALSO i checked out of foodhub as a guest, so was unable to leave a review and therefore used google. Maybe stop arguing with customers and focus on how to cook

I've only ever bought milkshakes here so hence the four stars as I cannot comment on the food quality at this point. However, I can fully recommend the Snicker milkshake and the sour apple slurpee. The staff have always been polite and the venue seems clean and well maintained. We'll be trying the waffles soon, I'm sure.

We've ordered from The Cod Father a few times recently and it's been great but unfortunately tonight's order was terrible and to be honest we will not be ordering again. We placed the order via Uber Eats and was given an estimated delivery of 7.15-7.45pm I rang the shop at 7.55 and was told the order was just leaving. 20 mins later it finally arrived but was wrong. We had chicken poppers and chips (which we didn't order) and we were missing the donner meat and chips. All the food was barely warm and to top it off my son found a hair in the chicken poppers meal 🤮. I'm aware that it's Father's Day and they were busy but to receive the wrong order, not hot and find a hair is very poor. We will not be ordering from The Cod Father again

The wife and I Dropped in for a bite to eat and stayed for lunch, great cod lovely chips and the team there are awesome, you have to go and try them for yourself.
