"We've grown to become one of the UK's best places for afternoon tea and are located steps from Nantwich town centre. We're proud to be a firm favourite for coffee and cake, legendary brunches and hearty lunches. We serve loose leaf tea by the pot and delicious food made from scratch in the Ginger and Pickles kitchen. Come and see us today!"

Nice and clean ,staircase is a little steep as it's an old building but that adds to the Charm as do the separate rooms, very friendly staff, excellent choice of food good choice of flavoured coffees

Be EXTRA careful ordering the ‘afternoon tea’ set at £16. We ended up paying for two! Having only ordered one set to share!!! - waitresses rushing around and busy, not listening - under staffed - we clearly were a mum & daughter and this was a large SHARING tier of sandwiches cake and scones. They brought out ONE china 3 tier set, so we assumed was our order. Had 2 plates/sets arrived we would have understood?!? - only to find at checkout they charged us twice ie for 2x £16. I queried it but they just shrugged and i didn’t want to cause a fuss at the time -so paid it. But looking back that was a bit naughty esp when the £16 was clearly for 2 people sharing.

lovely looking place and friendly staff. However, the food is low quality and overpriced. I paid £3ish for a childrens milkshake and it was literally milk with flavouring and sold as a 'magical milkshake'!! i wouldn't go back.

Fantastic eatery. Dog friendly and the staff were beyond friendly and accommodating. Best Latte and breakfast bagel I've had in a while. Plus their home baked cakes are simply scrumptious. Definitely worth a visit!!! Nom Nom Nom :)

Small, cosy and well run, this eatery is very welcoming, has a seemingly endless supply of cake, serves a great "crumpet stack" and is disability friendly. Well worth several visits

The hunt for cream tea took us to this cafe with an unusual set up. U enter the shop, then get directed out , turn left into the entrance then upstairs where the cafe is split up into different areas and also a “roof top “ sitting area where we choose to sit. Scones with real cream (not spray) and jam / pot of loose tea ordered and enjoyed.

Fantastic! We sat on the new terrace and had the most delicious breakfast and enjoyed the view across the Nantwich buildings. We were served by a really lovely server, Tabitha, who looked after us very well despite being busy. This is a must visit - breakfast, lunch and wonderful cakes too. Definitely going to return here again.

Friendly, nice coffee, lots of interesting seating areas inside, and a quiet pedestrian street to enjoy outside. Those caramel shortcakes look amazing too!Only negatives are that it's definitely on the higher end price-wise and there's no WiFi. Suspect I'll still be popping back before the end of my stay in Nantwich though!

Super friendly staff, had a short wait for a table (arrived just before 12). There's a great selection of food and drink, I was really impressed with their selection of teas. Our food and drinks arrived quickly (drinks first) despite being seemingly busy inside. I had a gunpowder green tea and a crumpet stack and it was absolutely delicious. Just enough food for me to have room for one of their amazing melt in the mouth chocolate brownies. Highly recommended!
