Gourmet Coffee Bar & Kitchen in Cheshire East

Nice toastie and muffin, but poor customer service. I asked for toasties and muffins, I was given toasties and latte’s. Rather than apologising for mishearing me and offering the muffins for free, I was charged for the muffins and not refunded for the latte’s.

Gave me coffee instead of hot chocolate blonde guy was lovely both times and fast making hot chocolate:)

Genuinely waited 15 minutes in line for just a bottle of juice and a croissant, due to the wait my train pulled up to the platform. Staff member was talking to somebody that had popped their head round and ignored me when I politely said that was my train while she was getting my change. Didn’t have time for a receipt (so now can’t put it on my expenses) and had to take the croissant without the bag as I just didn’t have time -my train left 20 seconds after I got on it and it was literally in front of the coffee shop. Definitely need more than 1 person in there at a train station, or at least somebody quicker. Quite ridiculous really, and I work in a busy coffee shop myself.

Big fan of the Gourmet chain, HQ’d nearby in Wrexham. Oat milk available, and always a decent range of sandwiches and pastries/cakes.

Slow, slow, slow. £4.90 for Latte and pastry, I left with just the pastry as the coffee was too slow. 4 staff in the kiosk, till guy great, coffee maker slow, other two scratching their rear ends 🙄 need more speed in a train station!

Genuinely good quality espresso was a good surprise during a twenty minutes change at crewe. Tasty flapjack too. Glad I didn’t stoop to a Starbucks at Stockport

Sausage Baguette and a regular Flat White Deal £5.95. Coffee was perfect, Sausage was decent quality, baguette was as expected from being microwaved. Chunky Slice of Flap Jack for £2.50 was sticky and delicious, washed down with the last of the coffee. This place seems like it's doing the best snacks in the Station. Situated on Platform 6!

Easily best coffee in the region. Baristas really know what they are doing and make every drink to a consistently high standard. I always look forward to getting my coffee here because of quality and great customer service!

Sausage Roll is great.Coffee has drastically improved recently.The service from Nat was top notch.I no longer have to take coffee from home when I travel to London

Both me and my partner received warm and delicious sausage baguettes. Even after leaving the baguette in the bag for 15 minutes it was still hot. Bread beautifully baked and sausages so tasty. Their Clifton hot chocolate powder is 10/10 and I recommend this to everyone. Best hot chocolate I’ve ever had. Friendly and informative staff eager and happy to help. They also have the best advertising out of all the shops at the station.
