We had a very poor experience here. We visited with friends with 2 young kids and didn't get any highchairs, depsite making a booking with 2. Seems they only have 2 for the whole pu, I mean c'mon, they are Β£8 in IKEA, just buy some more. So try enjoying a meal with a 16m on your lap....!! That said, we wouldnt have enjoyed it much anyway as the food was very average. The Yorkshire puddings could have been used to build a house. I hate to be negative about staff when they are clearly rushed and they absolutely weren't rude at all, but it was also average service at best.....it doesn't take much to be a little more friendly and service orientated. Recovers to 2 stars as at least they offered reasonable GF options and a decent selection of beers. We won't be rushing back.

This is always a great pub to visit with a lovely beer garden and totally dog friendly. The food is pretty good too! Only two tiny little niggles: the draught cider has been changed from Stowford Press to Westons (a pity) and the chips served with our meal were a tad unusual.....is it something to do with different cooking oil?? Wouldn't put us off dining here again though or just stopping by after a dog walk.

Decent food, decent drink selection. You can eat inside your own private greenhouse which is a different experience.Greenhouses have ventilation and a heater so don't worry about the weather.

A beautiful gem of a pub, the food was fabulous, the service was fabulous and the chaps behind the bar were super friendly and chatty. Would highly recommend this place for a cosy relaxing meal and a couple of drinks!

Very enjoyable meal, had mushroom stroganoff, which was lovely! The setting is gorgeous, the building itself is very interesting. Staff friendly and helpful. Will be back soon.

Absolutely wonderful. Really lovely spot. Friendly service. Fresh tasty food. Fantastic building. Made us and my six year old feel very welcome. Sensible kids menu is smaller versions of adult meals identified by asterisk. Not a nugget in sight!
