Amazing bakery next to the restaurant with fresh good quality baked bread and cakes, coffee and freshly made orange juice available. Highly recommended!

Authentic greek food! We really enjoyed our dinner there, we felt like we were in Greece. The quality of the food was amazing, everything was so well-cooked and the portions were enormous. I am so happy we have found this place and we will go again soon!

Food was excellent. Unfortunately the service suffered through no fault of the restaurant as there was a family gathering of 15 people with young children. Will definitely return but perhaps later in the evening than 6.30pm

We visited Hellas last night to celebrate our daughter in laws birthday. It was amazing! The food is fantastic!! Tom and Andraus do an great job of hosting. Sofia and Stathis your food is out of this world!!! Our family love it! Topped off with a beautiful Greek chic cake purchased from the Greek Bakers Artos next door. Can’t wait to revisit Hellas. ❤️

Small (maybe 25 seats) friendly restaurant, book to be sure to get in. We went on a Tuesday night, it was busy, but they managed to squeeze us in even though we had no booking. The atmosphere is bright Greek styled and bubbling with conversation. The service is not rushed and the food good. Well worth a visit, and if you like Greek food you are likely to go back. It's not the perfect restaurant, but it meets everything you need so only 4 stars as 4.5 stars can't be ticked. We walked from our hotel, there looked to be on road parking, but it would be worth checking if this is important to you.

Cosy restaurant, food to die for and a free cocktail for my birthday. Would definitely recommend to everyone. Only problem is toilets are upstairs. Tom is a great host and the taverna decor whisks you away from Handforth, to the Mediterranean. We will most definitely be making more visits. Fabulous place.

My first experience with Greek food, and I couldn't have chosen a better place. The environment is cozy and like a family business, they took care of the details and make you feel comfortable. They only small detail, is that we went there almost at the same time that other people, so they took really long time to serve us. However, the place just have a few tables and you need to book in advance, so I will just say it was understandable the jam in the kitchen if that was a late night dinner as everyone else. Friendly waiters, and overall really enjoyable food. If it your first time, please follow the suggestions of the waiter, and try the several dips.
