Henry's Cafe in Cheshire East

First visit to Prestbury and we visited Henry's, we bought some Bakewell flapjack which was absolutely gorgeous. One piece was enough for two of us.The lady who served us was very niceVisited the toilets as well which were nice.

I was there just for a coffee and cake this morning and I was impressed by the great coffee and atmosphere. The lady behind the till was lovely and friendly. Highly recommended !

Not quite sure why this place is so highly regarded. Nothing special. Weak coffee, half cooked sausages with a price tag even Harvey Nick would gasp at.Quaint yes. Pretentious yes. Good? Not really.Best way to describe it would be…. HmmMotorway cafe who thinks it’s Harrods.

I feel like we may have arrived near closing time, just after 3pm, and I felt like we were being rushed out, cleaning and sweeping around our table etc - we didn't check opening times but if they were closing they should have just told us and we would have gone somewhere else. That being said, the cake was really nice and I'd certainly go back again, just I'll check times to avoid any passive aggressive cleaning 😓

I find it very hard to believe that you won the Best Cafe Award! Everytime i visit you get the simplest of things wrong. This morning for example you ruined my hot chocolate by scorching the milk. Its not a simple mistake, its a simple thing that you made a mistake of! And things are only going to get worst with your recent personnel changes. You are about to go through a period of alienating both customers and your own staff. Good luck with that one!

After 2 1/2 mile walk we decided to stop for a coffee & food. Waited outside in the under cover seating area for 15mins . No sign of staff. Went inside ti order & was told they would come out to me. After another 10mins a member of staff came out looked at me but only took an order from another table that had just arrived. After another 10mins & no staff we walked away. Sadly I gave this establishment a high rating before but may never frequent their premises again

Lovely food and staff,They messed the order up so it took an age to bring out.It wasn't a problem for us,they were very apologetic and brought us an extra coffee..was very kind of them.We will certainly be going back soon.

Cosy cafe with delicious food and great service. Definitely recommend the 'Mini Prestbury' cooked breakfast!

Nice cafe with friendly staff and good food. Great outdoor seating area around the back.

Excellent breakfasts, high quality coffee and dog friendly. One of the best cafes around Macclesfield area.
