Visited again yesterday. This restaurant is fine dining at its finest. Stunning restaurant, inside and out. Food was amazing, it tantalised the taste buds and was beautiful presented. The service was fantastic, very very efficient, but also friendly and not too intrusive. They've got everything bang on point. Almost forget to mention the wine list, very very impressive. Something for everyone's taste.

Amazing experience and fine dining all in one place, friendly staff and a small select menu for a different meal experience. The food was lovely and surprisingly filling, tried a few things we have never seen, squid ink and tonka been ice cream etc. If you are after a romantic night for 2 and have plenty of spare cash it is worth a try.

Beautiful food and attentive service for my sisters birthday meal. Very hands on and intimate dining experience.

+The fillet beef was perfect!+Delicious chocolate desert.+Staff were attentive and friendly.+Nicely decorated.-The trout starter wasn't for me-Felt a little cramped with other guests in the one room they placed everyone.Overall excellent experience.High quality fine dinning in the heart of Cheshire.

Can't rave about this place enough! My husband booked it for my birthday and we decided to go for the 7 course tasting menu, of which every course was delicious. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the outside dining area is so quaint and peaceful. Definitely a new favourite of mine and we will 100% be returning!

I rarely give a restaurant 5 stars!Where do I start??Welcoming staff who forgave us graciously for being a bit late on a busy night, Leah was welcoming, friendly and attentive. Gave us good suggestions from the food and drinks menu.We sat in the garden, and was lovely to feel the sun going down, and the tasteful lighting coming on.Excellent wine list, we mixed and matched from the 'by the glass menu'Food was amazing, cooked to our liking, with generous portions, even for the sharing plates.Had a lovely chat and liqueur with the owner after our meal.They were happy to arrange a taxi for us, and it arrived promptly as promisedAll in all an excellent night, good food, good wine, good service. We will return

A fabulous tasting menu from La Popote that delivered some interesting and flavoursome plates.

This is a restaurant which you fall in love with the minute you walk through the door. We feel so lucky to live so close to such amazing cuisine, which we initially thought we would have to sacrifice moving away from the big cities.Today we were fortunate to have booked our Christmas dinner here.Starting, of course, with a champagne reception, each course which followed was in my wife's words 'the best Christmas dinner ever' (Sorry mother in law)The service was exceptional, the food delicious, and extremely good value for money.It was our second time here, and we can't wait for you to open your doors again in the new year.Merry Christmas, and thank you for making our day so wonderful.
