This place is so lovely, but only as a place, It's a nice spot at the heart of Macclesfield. But it deserves only 2 stars because the staff is unfriendly and unexpressed. When I had been there for some drinks with my partner the server didn't allow us to sit because my partner was dressed in tracksuit. It's not her fault I can understand it, that's the policy of the business , but it wasn't busy so I was so comfused and I expected that they wanted more customers and as a consequence more money. At the same time I noticed that some customers were dressed very casual, so it was so weird hearing that we aren't allowed to sit for that reason. I am leaving this feedback because I know what I mean working at a bar/restaurant/Cafe because I do the same. That's a shame for them. The drinks also are fair and not so premium but you get what you pay for.

We were hosted by Jamie and Holly who made us feel very welcome, the atmosphere was calm and relaxed and we ended up staying longer than planned.

Food was GREAT! Staff helpful and friendly. Generally a good vibe.

Myself and 2 other visited for lunch in early January…. I visit mandarina for a drink regularly and the service is always quick and the quality of the beer good.We had food on this occasion and were surprised with both the good portion size and qualityWe had-1. Steak ciabatta + Fries- steak was cooked well nice and tender and fries were crispy2. X2 Chicken wrap- good amount of filling and again crispy friesWe also had a couple of coffees that were freshly made and some orange juiceFor a quick, tastey lunch with reasonable prices I would definitely recommend, not many alternatives in macclesfield

Bit of a statement here... But quite possibly the best lasange I've ever had, delicious! I was full half way through but it was so good I kept going until it was gone.My partner had the beef burger and he loved that too. Nice bar/restaurant vibes. Lovely staff, felt very welcome. Just here for a flying visit but If we're back in the area we won't hesitate to come back here! 10/10

Day out on Macclesfield, fell upon Mandarin. So glad we did, lunchtime menu was impressive, ordered fish finger butty. The food was good old fashioned good cooking, delicious 😋 the dressing on the side salad was to die for! Thoroughly recommended for good food. Good service and friendly atmosphere 👌 👍 well done the owner and staff it was an enjoyable experience
