Merlin in Cheshire East

Me and my wife visited the merlin this evening and it was faultless. We both had fillet steaks and they were cooked to perfection. Amazing service from our waitress Ciara, she was very attentive and friendly. The chefs name was Greg (I asked our waitress) and he needs a mention too! Will definitely be back & couldnt recommend enough.

The room was spacious, clean and decorated lovely. Very friendly and helpful staff. We ordered room service and the food was so delicious! The rooms themselves were priced very reasonably. I would 100% love to stay here again. The pub itself looked beautiful and I commented that it was possibly the most aesthetically pleasing we’ve visited.

Lovely restaurant. We had to sit in the bar as this seems to be the only part which is dog friendly, which is a shame, as dining room looked very pretty.Food was absolutely gorgeous. More expensive than we would usually go for but the delicious meal was worth it.

Our second time here. This is an excellent restaurant. Nicely decored, pleasant and helpful staff with delicious freshly made food. 💯

We have had a few take outs during the covid period which were always amazing especially the Sunday roasts. We dined in with our kids for the first time and the whole experience was first class. I do have to say that the fillet steak I ordered was the best steak I have ever had I'm very particular . I highly recommend and will be returning.

Couldn’t recommend it more! The staff, hotel room, food, decor, general service and atmosphere were all wonderful.Room was beautiful cosy and very clean/ like new, food was delicious.Staff were very friendly and helpful - went out their way to ensure good heating in the room and just very personable and professional. Nice place, lovely room, the fold out bed and the master bed mattresses were lovely. No creaking or spring noise as we have had at other places. Clean and tidy with very tasteful decor. Can't fault the place. We stayed In room 10.

I was recommended the sticky toffee pudding by oceane and what a recommendation it was fantastic! We also tried the truffle and bbq chicken which was pretty good. My little girls chicken curry was highly commended.We will be back ☺️

Dined here for the first time for an anniversary and it was a mixed experience. Service was good and starters were great, but the lamb main was disappointing (overcooked, missing and wrong items on the plate). The outdoor ‘atrium’ area wasn’t comfy and is grubby (dogs allowed too) so dine inside if you can. May return but will try other venues nearby next time.

Had a very tasty lunch today. Delicious food well presented. Service excellent. Only quibble would be if you sit outside, be aware it's on a busy road, so the lower level tables are noisy.
