Grade 1 listed building that provides a unique experience. Don't expect all mod cons because they are not why you would choose to stay here. Rooms are comfortable, clean and well set out providing all you need for a pleasant stay. Staff are friendly and helpful. ALL the food we ate (lunch dinner then breakfast) was excellent and of a high quality. Grounds are well kept and tidy. Overall it was a great visit

Obviously this is a very classy place, our room(upgraded) was excellent with a very large and comfortable bed with a lovely bathroom. The food in the 1854 restaurant was very good and the service that we received was very attentive with a very personable waitress. One really dissapointing aspect was the lack of a spa, it turns out that it has been temporarily turned into office space because the pandemic has damaged confidence in spas. The other thing that mildly miffed me was the estate boasts of 4000 acres available to walk around, I saw nothing that encouraged me or informed me of any of this. The staff are in general excellent.

We booked in for an afternoon tea as we really enjoy these little treats s. The setting is wonderful and the tea served was excellent, especially the pastries😀We were served by a lovely young lady called Lily. She was very attentive, upbeat and bubbly. Her cheerful manner definitely added to an already positive experience. We are sure to come back again.

Was a great stay. This is a very busy hotel with weddings on our 2 nights but did not affect our stay, music and guests were hardly noticeable. As with any hotel this busy I noticed a few issues with the room but again did not affect our stay. The staff and amenities was excellent. It's set in a beautiful estate and was easy to explore the local area.

Incredible venue. Attended a networking event so didn't stay just visited. The room was great, food very good quality and the staff pleasant.Toilets were modern and clean considering the age of the building. The sat navigation on Google maps did advise me to go down a no entry rural road, which I ignored, then suggested carrying on past the actual entrance. Luckily a gardener outside confirmed I was in the right place.Upon entering from the car park on foot, the reception to your left immediately is not the hotel reception, but land-rover's. So better signage would be helpful both outside and inside.

Got this stay on Groupon, including 2 course meal and breakfast for £130. I have to say it was worth every penny. The food was great, the castle was amazing, some great features. I felt like a princess. The rooms were very cost and warm and the wine cellar was great too. Lots about this place. Definitely worth the visit. Just a beautiful place. Highly recommended.

Took my mum for an afternoon tea for two which was lovely. The service was so professional and amazing!! Everything was explained in detail with regards to the food, plenty of choice, attention to detail with checking on us and getting a tea refill etc was brilliant and everyone was so friendly and polite. We were also allowed to explore the castle and grounds a little which just added to the whole experience. The castle is amazing it's well maintained and even the modernised sections still maintain original features and fit well. Can't wait to book in again for an overnight stay, meal or even afternoon tea again!

Our stay at Peckforton Castle was absolutely perfect! The room was spotless and the bed was lovely and comfortable. Before heading to the Brasserie for dinner, we went to the Wine Cellar for a few drinks. Absolutely gorgeous candlelit bar. The food at the Brasserie was delicious. Very fresh and well presented, couldn’t fault it!Breakfast in the morning was also spot on. My partner had the full English which looked lovely and I had the continental. All the staff were super friendly and helpful, but I would like to give a special shout out to Stan, the night porter! Whilst we were having a wander around the Castle after a few more drinks in the Wine Cellar, we bumped into Stan who absolutely made our trip! He gave us a tour whilst telling us a bit of history about the Castle, before walking us back to our room. Very lovely man who made us feel truly welcome, thank you for making our evening Stan!Would highly recommend Peckforton Castle, we will definitely be visiting again!

A beautiful, unique castle set in stunning grounds and woodland. A perfect venue for weddings and corporate days. The brasserie serves a fabulous afternoon tea and offers a bistro style service for dinner between 6 and 10. The main restaurant is AA 3 rosettes and is definitely worth a visit. We found all the staff we dealt with friendly, efficient and professional in their manner. Highly recommended.

An amazing beautiful place. Spent my birthday here with my husband and it was so lovely. Stunning comfortable room, dinners were so tasty and filling and lovely bar to have drinks. The afternoon tea package is well worth trying. The staff are very friendly and helpful and full of knowledge about the castle. Beautiful setting for weddings. Exploring each of the rooms in the castle gives you a feel of the historic place. Would highly recommend a visit or stay and we'll definitely return.
