Great treat night out, it is unique and definitely something to remember a spacial occasion. The food was extraordinary but pay attention and choose wisely when the food is presented as the beef meal was overpowered by the horse radish. Overall a great selection of meals and all very tasty, we struggled to fit in all of the courses but they do offer a take out if you can't fit the desert and cheese board in. Be prepared for a late one as dinner at 8 finished after 11, so late taxi or drive home. Not cheap but very special.

We had a lovely time at Pecks celebrating Mother's Day. Very good service and delicious food as always. Truly enjoyed it.

We loved this place, service was fantastic choice of wine excellent, food was se4ved timely but still loads of time to chat and catch up with friends.

We went for the dinner at eight and what can I say. It was absolutely amazing. I've never enjoyed the food so much. For a person who can be a bit fussy with flavours I was blown away with how the food was presentated to us before we made our choices. All staff were friendly and knew there stuff. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

I bought my mum and dad an afternoon tea voucher for Christmas have done for the last 3 years as the food has been excellent however this time they were very disappointed!!! The sausage meat In the sausage roll was gristly, the coleslaw has big chunks of hard cabbage, the prawn cocktail had hardly any sauce they had to make more to cover the thick chunks of the iceberg lettuce. The pate was very strong and the curry sandwich they had to leave as it was far too strong and salty!!! The ham in the sandwiches was very fatty too - very disappointing for me as I bought it as a treat £45 I won’t be spending again 😞

Attended the Valentines evening, have been a number of times before and have been very impressed. Feel the experience and service from the staff makes it special. The food was OK, nothing bad but wasn't up there in my opinion.

Went here for the evening menu.Every course was nice, especially the beef bouginyon which was delicious, though I'd have preferred more sauce.Seeing what food options before choosing is good and adds a unique experience, but the waiting staff although lovely, came across as a bit impersonal and too scripted. There were so many cakes to choose from I forgot the first few. A menu for cakes would have been handy.Prices high(but reasonable for this kind of restaurant)No musicWheelchair friendlyNot dog friendlyHad no problems with parkingSmart/ smart casual wear

I have to say, looking at other peoples afternoon teas, looks like we picked the wrong one. The concept of the gentleman's afternoon tea was interesting, but falls short. While the scones, beef sandwiches and fish chip butty were nice. The cottage pie, was surprisingly devoid of taste and cold. Considering cottage pie is one of the easiest meals to make and reserve, this was poor. Beyond underseasoned. Now it being cold, does sometimes happen when they're busy. In their defence, they did provide a replacement that was warm. But still, entirely tasteless. Like they didn't use any stock. The other negative, was being in the corner it was hard to get service. Considering we did book, it was a poor seat with a long wait for service. On another day with a different order and table, these things might not have happened. Could have had an entirely positive review, as many others had. But sometimes it goes this way I suppose.

SUPERB . . Went for dinner for £25 and it was absolutely fantastic . We've been for dinner at 8 and loved that so thought we'd try the 3 course dinner . Good selection of courses , friendly staff everything flowed very nicely , my pigeon and spicy cauliflower starter was especially nice .Highly recommend trying Pecks it truly is worth it . I thought the dinner at 8 sounded a bit expensive but it was worth every penny they show you every dish before you order , every course is amazing it makes a lovely evening
