Clean place. happy staff . Beef was tough very limited selection of veg .although the undercooked cauliflower with a vicious white fluid on wasn't for me. green beans cooked nicely. Extra thick gravy was also not fantastic. Perhaps slightly more water and less gravy granules...hope these comments will help and in the fulness of time possibly be rectified

The service today was awful. Girl at the till was slow and the food took ages to arrive when it was only sandwiches accompanied with cold chips. Seemed very short staffed. Not my favourite place by no means.

Visited here on Sunday for a carvery! Lovely food, staff lovely and friendly! The cakes though? WOW! AMAZING! I got the Creme Egg one while its nearly easter! Was delicious! I have been to other Farmhouse Inn Carveries but this is by far the best one! Keep up the good work Rookery Wood! We will be back soon!

Love this place, my new favourite when I'm in the area! The lady manager there Holly is lovely, treated my mum on mother's day to one of their carverys and it was lush! Added bonus was mum got a lovely treat bag of chocolates too from the team which I thought was such a nice touch! Will absolutely be back again!

My car was having an MOT across the road so decided to spend a few hours working here whilst I waited. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome the entire time. I ordered from the grazers menu and the portions were large and very tasty. I also ordered an ultimate soft drink and was so large it would have been enough to last me a week! The prices were extremely reasonable and will definitely come again. Would highly recommend.

Came in today. Amazing, Pete on the door greeted me, took me to my table and explained the whole process to me for ordering. I had the Carvery and it was delicious. seeing how many calories was a bit scary!! But it didn't stop me from having a dessert. Another member of staff said good bye I didn't catch her name. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit, I will definitely be returning.

Fantastic lunch! Popped in about 12:00 for a light lunch and thoroughly enjoyed a small beef carvery! The staff were lovely and checked on how we were enjoying our food. Top marks, we will be back!

Only popped in for a quick bite to eat but the Carvery looked so nice we had 3 standard carverys instead! It was all cooked lovely and plenty of meat too! Not sure what it’s like on a Sunday but we went Saturday and it was perfection 12/3/22

We came here for a quick bite to eat one evening. Despite a busy carpark, the pub itself seemed quite quiet. There was lots of choice on the menu, and it was all reasonably priced. We ordered off the menu - service was quick, and food was tasty.

Typical carvery, nicely cooked food, it was very busy when we arrived and lots of tables with dishes and left over food not been cleared, we had booked, no table reserved. Told to find a table and sit where we liked, there were not any cleared tables. The carvery was very tasty with plenty of hot food. The serving area was very messy with spilt gravy and food. It was extremely busy and there did not appear to be enough staff to cope with numbers. I have been to other carveries in this chain, this was well below the standard of the others. The staff were friendly but very over worked. At a less busy time I am sure it would be a better experience
