Sarafina in Cheshire East

Absolutely amazing from start to finish. My girlfriend booked for my birthday. We‘re both vegan and everything we had was delicious- esp the lasagne! They even have vegan Parmesan!! Not only this but the wines were labelled vg too. We went midweek and although we were running late and had to push the table back, we never felt rushed. Really enjoyable experience and relaxed atmosphere. To top it all off, they brought out a sorbet at the end of our meal and had wrote happy birthday in a fruity sauce. Highly recommend this restaurant 👏🏻 Thank you so much.

Really disappointing. We waited a full hour for starters which was odd when there were only 3 of us and the restaurant could only have been at 65% capacity. It was a further 30 minutes for the main dishes. The chicken liver was insipid and so I left half of it. The waitress asked me if I enjoyed it to which I said it was 'alright', she laughed and walked away. The next table said that they had been coming for years but that this would be their last visit given the poor food and service. It's not what it was it would seem.

Really nice place and lovely food! Service was really slow though unfortunately but the owner was very apologetic and lovely to us. I would definitely return just not when I’m in a rush!

I took my wife there to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The staff and food were amazing. Definitely recommend!

Lovely food and friendly staff. However they have dropped a star due to the very slow service we had a table for six and it was so busy we sat outside. Unfortunately, we waited over 30 minutes for our starters and about the same for our main course after prompting the waitress. No covid restrictions in place and very crowded. More of a score of 3.5 stars. it's a very popular so best to book ahead.

Absolutely beautiful food. It's been a long time since we've eaten authentic Italian food. Their pasta dishes were very tasty.Friendly staffGreat value

My wife is Italian and just arrived home from Italy. We stopped here on a whim and were really pleased that we did so. The food is quality rather than quantity and all was freshly prepared and cooked. Never had cannelloni so tasty. Only downside was the British desert menu however that is supply & demand and our nation does love its sticky toffee pudding... The affogato I had though was wonderful with coffee and amaretto.

I regularly visit sarafina for their good food and service, but i do think it's a bit overpriced. For example the sweet potatoe wedges were £4.50 but you only get about 4 wedges. For that price I would expect a lot more.

This place was fantastic. Amazing staff, food and atmosphere. I would definetly recommend his place for a romantic or casual dinner.The location: easy to find. Not quite on the corner as Google maps would say, but easy to spot as they have decking outside. Parking opposite after 6pm for free parking on weekdays. Not sure if they have thier own parking, so ring them before hand.Inside. Beautiful. New york - Manhattan style with dark greens and wooded decor. Stylish, mature and sophisticated. Upstairs is more spacious and has its own bar. Downstairs is nice. If dining for two, get a window seat for a nice view.Toilets are super clean, even more clean than my own bathroom lol. Added photos for your convenience.Staff are amazing. Especially the young mixed race girl. She is so helpful and kind, definetly left her a tip.Be aware that for birthdays, they only put candles in the desert and its not free. It might of been because i told them while i was there.Food was very nice. So rich and tasty. Fully of flavour. Ordered lamb pasta which was amazing and gnocchi which was so light and fluffy. Needs too be lighter as it was very rich. Great portion size.Final bill with 1 garlic bread starter, 2 mains, roasted potatoes and 1 tiramisu, came to £51.
