Sotto in Cheshire East

Great food, service and atmosphere. We sat in the outside, summer space, which is completely covered and heated. Even has blankets if you get chilly. My husband and I had the foccacia with cheese and nduja sausage to start, which was really tasty. I ordered the seafood linguine (squid, prawns and mussels), husband had the rib eye taco and we shared calamari, fried prawns and Spanish potatoes. It was seriously all so tasty. The calamari was cooked perfectly, it melted in the mouth. There was plenty of seafood in the linguine. I didn't try the rib eye, but my husband has ordered this on two occasions, so it must be good. His only comment would be to ask the customer how they want it served as he would have preferred it a little pinker, but it still tasted great as it was! It was my birthday and I loved it. Would definitely recommend and will return. The couple on the next table had paella and it smelt and looked amazing, I want to try that next time!

Delicious food and great service. We dined at Soto on our way back from the airport. The food was fabulous. We had focaccia and olives to start followed by pizza and Linguine Diavola. Will definitely return next time we are in the area.

Went today place was ok.Firstly I though the staff acted very miserable, place was a quiet so felt really unwelcoming. Strange given the Facebook posts saying how they are struggling.I had a steak fillet, which was fatty and steak knife I was given was blunt. Also was pretty cold. The menu said the sauce was included but when the bill came an extra £2 was added for it.Service charge of £13 was added to the bill with no warning, 2 adults and 2 kids. Service was average despite it being very quiet, had to ask for bill twice etc etc. if you want to charge service then deliver a good one.Wine was expensive at £30 which is double the shop price, I don’t mind mark up but 100% is too much and feels dishonest.Food OK not fantastic

I visited on Friday with a group. I used to really enjoy Sotto. However the food quality was not so good this time. My chicken risotto was a very thin layer flattened onto a large skillet and the chicken itself tasted rubbery. Not a quality cut of meat. Those who had the octopus with roast potatoes had a very small portion and roast potatoes seemed to be fried rissoles. The service charge is added automatically and the prices are very high for the quality. I don’t think I will be returning anytime soon until it’s back to where it should be again as it used to be a great place to dine.

Delicious dinner!! The food is extremely good and I really appreciated the choice of wines. The service is quick and nice. I loved the lively atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it

Food was surprisingly good! Really enjoyed the lobster ravioli and the seafood paella. The outdoor conservatory/terrace area was really cosy and cute however I did find it to be cold and had to keep my coat on

Great place and well worth a visit. Didn't eat there just had drinks but the menu looks excellent. Staff very friendly and the outside area is currently filled with patio heaters, furry blankets and warm air blowers so very comfortable.

We had the lunch menu which boasts big portions and incredible value for money. The actual dishes themselves were delicious and staff very friendly. Little gem in Wilmslow which I will definitely be returning to!

Took my Mum for a special treat as she lives around the corner and hasn't been before. Athena and her team made us feel so welcome and the food was incredible. Shots here of delicious main meals, lobster ravioli with prawns and the seafood paella. Highly recommended!
