Sung King in Cheshire East

‘Large’ salt and pepper chips no longer large. Making portion sizes smaller whilst maintaining the price. Disappointing being a very loyal customer

Been eating here for years, but suddenly the food is awful (New owners) Fried rice like mush with big balls of boiled rice throughout, Special curry was bland and tasteless, the meat slimy and found a bone in the Char Sui pork, 1 and a half prawns? Also a 20 min wait in the shops stretched out to be a 35 minute one, this has to be the worse Chinese in Macclesfield, may as well have burnt £20

My favourite local Chinese, they also do fish and chips which I would highly Recommend 👍

Tried a lot of Chinese takeaways in the area and this is by far the best! Our new local - fresh hot food, nice flavours and quick reliable service. Highly recommend!

Brilliant!We love this Chinese - the menu is huge and food delicious.The sweet and sour chicken is excellent and lots of meat content - not padded out with veg.Special combo starter is fantastic and great valueWe get food from here at least twice a month - everything you want from a Chinese!

We normally go to Chan's but they are closed this week so thought we would give Sun King a go. Not for me. The chips, rice and chow mein all looked anemic with very little flavour. If it wasn't for the seaweed, there wouldn't have been any colour on the plate! The chips were stone cold. The prawn crackers were stale and had no crunch to them. Seaweed and spring rolls were the only decent parts of the order.

We order home delivery from Sun King regularly and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else! Always delicious, the service is great and there's lots of choice. Highly recommended.

We use sun King everytime, amazing food and very fresh. Always hot and good portion size. Definitely the best Chinese in Macclesfield.

My whole family eat from here. The food is delicious, flavoursome and morish.Its not cheap but definately worth the money and also isnt as expensive as say wok to go which i find dreadul and overpriced.I like my chinese.food to taste.of chinese.food and not plastic container.To sumarise, fair prices, really lovely staff, great tasting food , generous portions and fab menu options. I am a regular customer of the Sung King Takeaway and can highly recommend it to all. The staff are friendly and pleasant. The prices are fine and the food is gorgeous!The only downside is they do not deliver.UPDATE: Sun King do deliver now and although it is under different management than when I wrote the original review, the food is still excellent and I ama regular customer (probably too regular).
