Sutton Hall in Cheshire East

An atmospheric pub on the way back from Peak District and very hospitable and well-informed staff. Great selection of both drink and food including vegans. I really enjoyed the decor, particularly old rifles and pistols on display.

Happy well run establishment serving excellent fare. Prices reasonable. Great beer. Open fires. Lots of folk enjoying the atmosphere well spread out. Historic house so the floors can vary but wheelchair accessible.

We had a lovely lunch here,The Staff were friendly and efficient and the meal.was delicious. Situated in glorious countryside, I can just imagine going for a walk after lunch. And a bonus they have dog friendly rooms too!

Went for a carefully planned Sunday roast only to find out that there was no more chicken and lamb left. My partner had a plate of vegetables as she does not eat red meat (albeit discounted but not discounted enough).Made up for it with the amazing puddings but I expected better for this establishment.Will probably take a while before we return after this experience.

Fantastic first visit. Excellent service, food was impeccable. Awesome choice on the menu. Can highly recommend. We will go again without a doubt.

Our employer hosted a Christmas meal in a room which was towards the back of the building, with one big dining table, ideal for our party. The friendly staff directed us as we arrived individually. Their service re. the meal was friendly and efficient. The menu was special. Our three courses were beautifully presented, tasty, 'not like everywhere else' and the plates were hot. A real treat to go there, even in the cold, dark and rain. I hope to go back in the summer!

Stopped in on Boxing Day to have meal with family. Excellent with allergies, separate menu stating all allergens and really helpful for ones not on the list(onion and garlic), food really tasty.My son is autistic and was having difficulty staying still, running all around, and after I explained his situation, we were offered a quiet room for him to calm down if we needed... Really understanding and supportive- real allies.Definitely go again when in the area.

A great Lunch with friends after we had all been for a long walk earlier. Friendly & helpful Staff. We shared Garlic Breads between us: lamb pie was excellent as was the ham egg & chips. A vegetarian Cheese sandwich was prepared for our vegetarian friend(not on the menu but provided with no fuss) along with a steak sandwich & fries for me- we all enjoyed our meals. I had a chocolate brownie with ice cream & my friend the cherry tart - both very tasty. Beers - Directors was very enjoyable as was the Rose wine. An enjoyable visit.

Came here for a Sunday Roast. Lovely place. Sat outside. Place order at the bar. Food delicious- tender and fresh veg portions just right. Desserts yummy. Good selection all round. Friendly staff, child and dog friendly. Highly recommend. Good value for money.

Excellent pub food! I had a great steak dinner here. Friends also enjoyed the salad and beef burger. The chips were outstanding. Desert was very good but not amazing. Service was excellent. The venue was very cute, an old manor hall with lots of antique furniture and pictures. Worth the visit, book on their website.
