Lovely pub in a lovely setting. Was very surprised at how extensive the specials were. Decent food. Good local beers. Recommended.

Not a bad little pub, great seating outside when it's sunny and a decent selection of drinks. Food was pretty good as well. Great place to visit if your in the area

Fantastic pub with log fires and observed it is dog 🐕 friendly. Had a fantastic lunch can recommend the home made steak and ale pie washed down by quality pint of real ale. We visited on a Thursday lunch time. The pub opens at miday and people were waiting for the doors to open, very popular. Would highly recommend.

Good food. A leisurely lunch on a rainy Saturday. Thanks to the lovely waiting on staff, especially as one of our party was delayed by an hour due to traffic on M56 We had moved on to dessert and they were pretty quick to get her meal to the table. ,👍💞

Great little pub off the beaten path. Very helpful staff, great food and beer. Very good area for a walk and drop in for a drink or meal. Would recommend booking for a meal.

Came here for my wife’s birthday today and was really disappointed!We’ve been before and the food was great but the roast dinner was pants today - soggy Yorkshires, beef that was a weird beige colour and greens that had mushed together into a sort of slop underneath everything.Even worse, the roast potatoes were soggy :-(Not one to leave bad reviews normally but was really gutted it was so bad.

Delightful country pub. Kid and dog friendly (very). Large car park and tonnes of outdoor seating, much of it covered. Atmospheric interior, extensive food menu, good choice of hand-pulled ales, and reasonable prices for the quality of the food. Very friendly staff.

Food are very delicious with lots of variety, the restaurant is pretty, basically what you will want a nice pub to be like.

Very, very pretty. Seems really popular, food has huge portions and is delicious. At peak times service can be a little slow, but that's no fault of theirs - after all, it's no fast-food place. Real quality food. Brilliant atmosphere, very popular with dog owners. Super friendly.
