The Bears Head in Cheshire East

From the minute we walked through the door the staff were warm, friendly and welcoming. The ales are excellent and the triple roast on the Sunday was fantastic. The room was snug and cosy with plenty of supplies for your stay and the breakfast in the morning was delicious and really set us up for the rest of the day. We will definitely stay here again the next time we're in Cheshire.

The pub has a lot of character, had some really nice food, was served by Daniel who was attentive and looked after us. We also stayed at the Inn keepers Lodge adjacent, which was nice. Had a lovely overnight stay, would recommend and would stay again

Great lunch stop for our road trip , just 5 minutes out of the M6.The staff is lovely and the food tasty.Looks like it would be a lovely pub to have food a on cold day aswell , the inside looks so cosy 🙂Camille 😉

As always an excellent meal, with particularly wonderful thick chunky chips which everyone enjoyed . Fish and chips was superb..the kedgeree fishcakes were apparently delicious, and overall the service was rapid and friendly.A lovely outing for our family for first time since December 2021. We'll be back, even though we each do 80 + miles to get there.It's well worth it!

Simply outstanding. Service was excellent and extremely prompt. Portion size was huge and the food was piping hot. All plates were cleared including the children and the price was very reasonable.Excellent work

All staff were very good. Nice food. Good sized room and good value. Room had several maintenance issues that need addressing. Overall, I'd be very happy to return.

Went on a Friday evening, nice atmosphere and friendly service. Opted for two courses very good food, would recommend highly!

Dog friendly in the bar area which is what attracted us. Had the rib eye steak and was excellent. Staff all friendly and helpful. Definitely will go again especially as Vintage Inns have a loyalty program.

I was blown away by my experience here, lovely homely, relaxed atmosphere, great service and excellent food. I had pork belly, my girlfriend had hunters chicken schnitzel. Both were excellent. The home made onion ring melt in your mouth. All the staff were friendly and helpful, Steph, our server who was particularly attentive and welcoming. Can't wait to go back
