Lovely food and very good service. The restaurant was very comfortable and stylish. The garden too was well laid out and I would have lives to use it but it was quite a windy day on my visit. The Lavvo (tent) was very welcoming and I think an event there would be magical. All in all The Boars Head is a treasure in the countryside and so worth a visit.

Visited here Easter Sunday lovely open outdoor space we popped for drinks ended up having some lunch. Surprised they wasn’t overly busy with it being Easter Sunday. Lots of dogs outside with owners…. Rated only 3/5 as food was just ok standard I had the fish & chips and wasn’t the best. Batter to crispy to the point I couldn’t eat any. Only a little fish inside. Pea purée was tasteless . Tartar sauce was very nice. Stayed around 1.5 hours. Staff was all pleasant and smiling.

Went to the Board Head on Sunday night. We did book the tipi but due to the wind we’re advised to stay inside, my suggest for this would to not have the option to book the tipi on days they can not let customers in it as I was quite excited for it. However, the glass room we were put into was gorgeous! The food was so yummy, we do not have one bad thing to say about it! I especially have to mention the duck starter which was delicious. Would definitely come here again. Staff were extremely friendly and service was great.

1st time at the Boars head, Nantwich.Very impressed.Polite and attentive staff, very clean and well maintained. I noticed the staff helping an elderly lady and even though it was there busier time of the week, they seemed like they had all the time in the world for the lady. The ambience was great, the drinks were spot on and the food, oh the food....Very very good.Cannot recommend this venue highly enough.Good job and thank you

Recommended to us and it didn’t disappoint. Table service, prompt, friendly and professional. Good selection of food but not too much to overwhelm. We ordered the olive tapenade, sausage and mash and the haddock goujons. Excellent food, very high quality and excellent service. We sat outside in the sunshine, there is a paved terrace, lawn seating and a wooden tepee type building. Very picturesque. Beautiful and will definitely go again. Highly recommended.

Our server, Mitch, was great! His service was speedy yet attentive and his conducted himself well whist reflecting the paragon values.I had the calamari for starter which is amazing, the sweet chilli sauce has lots of flavour and the portion size is perfect! My partner had the Camembert which also looked delicious and was a good size.I then had the Chicken, Ham and Leek pie which was scrumptious! The short crust pastry was amazing and the pie itself was a huge piece! It came with chunky chips which are always lovely from The Boars Head. My partner had steak which was a generous portion served with chunky chips. He ordered if medium however we would say it seemed more medium/well but he enjoyed it non the less. We then shared a cookie dough for dessert, the cookie dough I feel should not be called 'dough' as it is more cake like in comparison to some other restaurants that serve cookie dough. This dessert also tasted a little burnt which I think is due to the ramekin it is served in being very hot. We also waited over 20 minutes for the dessert after being told it would be about a 10 minute wait.On arrival I was also saddened to learn that the menu has been adjusted to become more similar the standard paragon menu (found on the website), this meant the Pizza I had had at The Boars Head is no longer on the menu. I am in hope they will eventually bring the Pizza back.Overall another lovely experience at a Paragon restaurant.
