The Broughton Arms in Cheshire East

It was our first visit to The Broughton. And aren't we glad that we went there. I can now understand why it is so popular. From beginning to the end we really enjoyed the experience. The service we recieved was excellent. The food from starter through to dessert was delicious and I would highly recommend trying The Broughton. We will definitely be going back again. Thank you

Booked a table for 2 for a midweek supper whilst cruising down the Trent and Mersey. Fair selection of real ales and typical pub food but tasty, filling and reasonably priced! Would recommend as plenty of mooring nearby and a pretty bluebell wood to meander through to work up an appetite!

Good local pub. Nice prices on beer! Do pies too.

So disappointed.We waited 1 hour 40 minutes for food which was cold, watery and uncooked. My daughter left the food it was disgusting.Its busy noisy and the service on food is terrible. Staff waiting on are lovely, but we watched as nearly every table either left food or sent it back..the excuse we were given was the chefs in a mood tonight. So sack him..as thats just unacceptable and clearly will harm your reputation, so expensive to be waiting nearly 2 hours for food thats not edible.

Wow. They really did such an incredible job with this place. Couldn’t fault it! The decor was beautiful, the service impeccable and the food was delicious! We were given complimentary Prosecco for our anniversary which was really sweet. Will definitely be back again!

Amazing once again, had a fantastic Boxing Day Dinner. The food came out quick there was not sat waiting which is great on such a busy day. Staff were very good. overall another fantastic dining experience.

Excellent experience, couldn't have had a better evening. Quality of the food was superb, staff very efficient and friendly, our server,Kyle, did a great job in looking after us. Love the covered booths, great idea!
