Such a wonderful experience at this delightful place today. Amazing food, an excellent menu, all wrapped up with friendly, efficient staff. We couldn't have asked for more.

What a very pleasant experience awaits at this very well run venue. The menu is a well balanced offering from small lite bites to more substantial mains. Choose from Traditional fish n chips or perhaps a great surf n turf. We visited on a very busy bank holiday and we’re impressed by the friendliness and energy of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. One of our party needed a gluten free menu… no problem 30 seconds later it appeared with an impressive range of available dishes.Highly recommended… We will definitely be visiting again.

We had a great evening here. Talking about the food triangle: it is not expensive, very fast service and very good! Impressive.

Need to book here as its very busy and I can see why , food was delicious, very filling . Staff where lovely and friendly. The pub itself is warm and cosy

Great meal but slow, although very polite and cheerful, service. Distinct lack of masks as people were walking through to their seats. Not recommended if you are vulnerable.I really enjoyed the WHOLE baked seabass. And the mini dessert and drink. My husband had the chicken pie which he also enjoyed.

Amazing pub! Great food and choice of drinks. Also a brilliant atmosphere, but all this is out done by the friendliness and quality of service from the lovely staff!

Pleasant garden area to sit with the dogs Good staff service But I was disappointed to see how few items on the menu are sulphate free. This really limited my selection. They could produce allergy information. I doubt if many of the starters or nibbles are made on the premises.

Very much enjoyed my visit for lunch. A warm welcome; good beer selection; seated in cosy room off the bar; log fire; tables well spaced; varied and good value menu; good quality cooking; service friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

Took whole family for a meals at the Davenport Arms, the food was fantastic I had the special a tomahawk steak huge and cooked to perfection, the menu has so much to choose it’s hard to know what to have, so I will have to make numerous visits to try all the different things. We where looked after by Jayne who was brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. Will be back soon.
