A charming traditional pub that makes a nod towards the railways, with signage from nearby stations and railways of old. They have a real fire, live folk music and a sweet/ tuck shop. Definitely worth a visit.

Always a friendly place to catch up for a drink. The pub is well placed next to the village bus terminal so transport is no problem & the place itself has a fine selection of beers, wines & 'top shelf' for the more discerning. Cosy atmosphere & well maintained with friendly experienced staff, make The Cotton Tree a joy to frequent.

Absolutely brilliant pub. Went in pre covid and had no cash and it was cash only. A local offered me "a borrow" total stranger!

The cotton tree is a nice little village pub, although the landlady could be a little more enthusiastic and smile now and then. Apart from that locals seem friendly enough and it's not a bad pint. Worth a quick one if your passing
