So, so pleased we decided to do a water tasting experience with Doran. I was curious going in and fascinated by the end. The set-up allows you to taste differences in water in a way you didn't know possible. Watch out for the 'tequila of water' and make the most of Doran. He's super knowledgeable and his passion shines through. If in doubt, do this.

Well a far cry to what it used to be 😥 gutted .. so used to it being a thriving walkers and mtb paradise a well earned rest it is NOT .. run down .. no warming fire .. no draught beers .. no food .. no customers .. no customer service .. Mr No even said NO to putting the kettle on for a Cup of Coffee (felt so sorry for the young guy behind the bar he was lovely) ..Mr No apparently is a water sommelier now .. good luck with that you will need all the water you can get to clean your act up (and the toilets need cleaning) 🤣👍 .. and why have you just changed your Google Name after I have posted this review 🤪

Love Crag Spring Water. I’ve sampled lots of bottled water and Crag is by far the best.I love how they reuse the bottles instead of recycling.I’d recommend visiting The Crag Inn and doing the water tasting experience with Doran. I genuinely enjoyed every minute of it 👍

Don't be fooled by the old reviews. The place is not the same now. Cold, dingy, only serving a very limited range of drinks. Dirty floors, water bottles stacked high in the main bar, toilet door didn't shut....

We visited today in search of a drink and left with a lot of knowledge about mineral water and two bottles of the water that is bottled on site. Very different but I love the message that is being spread!

Pub closed when I visited midweek. Travelled someway here especially on a recommendation. No updates online from the pub and just a sign blocking their car park saying closed... no reason given.More than happy to update my opinion when they reopen.

I rarely give five stars but on this occasion it is because I admire a pub which is trying very hard and deserves our custom! It's a remote Country pub serves cask ale and tries to cater for food requests. The pub is dog friendly and on a great walk from Macclesfield Forest.Understandably during winter months opening times are limited currently not open Monday / Tuesday other days 12-15.00 so I suggest you check first. However the wincle beer is excellent so go & try!!

Came in for a quick drink following a walk and had the best experience I have ever had in a pub. The best soup and pork pie I could have wished for. No long complicated menu, simple and tasty. Great Value and friendly welcome from the staff. Will be back again.
