The Davenport Arms in Cheshire East

Went here today, service was fantastic every member of staff who served us was great. We also had two dogs with us and they were very respectful. The food was delicious cooked really well. Overall a really good dining experience and will be going there again.

Have been to this restaurant several times innthe past when it was under different ownership. Never went when it was part of the pesto chain. We booked to celebrate my daughters 40th birthday. Staff were attentive and service was very good. My own meal was fine. However main meal of roast beef dinner could have been much hotter. Not as many vegetables as I would have liked either. A good experience overall though. Would visit again for evening meal or weekday lunch.

Staff are wonderful and friendly, the food is delicious and the place itself is fantastic. Highly recommend for a Sunday lunch!

It's nice to be able to go out for a meal where you can have a pleasant conversation without having a constant battle with the background music. The atmosphere is good, the service great and the food excellent. Will definitely be going back here again.

Well do I have to tell you?Staff very welcoming and helpful in going through the brilliant menu.Food was not microscopic or huge, just correct amount.As motorhomes we stayed the night. Will definitely definitely go backO have I let slip the place was brilliant

Visited last night on the spur of the moment, just went on line made a reservation and were booked in for 7.30Arrived on time and were greeted by the lovely Jayne who showed us to our table took our drinks order and left us with the menu.I plumped for Sloe gin and tonic (it's nearly Christmas after all) and Ben produced a drink fit for royalty making me feel very special.Orders taken we sat back to relax in the convivial atmosphere. Considering how busy the pub was, our orders soon arrived. I had crispy beef salad and husband Thai fishcakes.This was followed by Steak and Ale pie for husband (beautifully presented and huge pie!) I ordered Chicken Katzu curry. Everything hot, tasty and wonderful.It was our first visit since the pub changed from Pesto and we were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. All the staff smiling, despite being rushed off their feet.Definitely will be going again. Thank you for a superb dining experience.

Wow wow wow!!Me and my family went here on Christmas Eve.We had a fantastic experience and the staff were lovely especially Jane! :)They were fantastic with my child, taking the time to talk to her about Santa and even gave her a little present at the end of the night!The food was to die for, really high quality ingredients - menu was really good and the presentation was real class! We will defiantly be back again!Merry Christmas!!!

Lovely place, been renovated well and has a nice feel. The food let's it down with its average delivery and taste. Not a special place to eat anymore like it used to be.

Staff amazing, decor amazing,food amazing and overflow gravel car part where motorhomes can stopover ,there is even some hookup points, food a bit pricey but we'll worth it .
