Beautiful pub in an idyllic location, rather quiet, fantastic staff and a great atmosphere. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the menu. It was rather fancy and didn't cater to basic tastes 😬 Sorry

Went for lunch, was able to sit out side. I had the chilli bean nachos which was a starter but filled me up easily. Hubby had fresh fish finger roll with chips and salad. We both enjoyed. Service good. Right on the canal side.

Wonderful bar staff, great community vibe to the place. Sandwiches for lunch were delicious however the bread was a little thick. Had a little shop below the pub which was great, had wonderful selection of foods and drink (even gluten free teriyaki sauce) all food locally sourced which is great.

Friendly with great location, however the food was mediocre with very little choice (5 things to choose from with 2 sold out ! )Fish and chips ordered, cod it wasnt !My steak was tough sadly, however they gave us the dessert for free and we were told they would speak to their butcher. We would certainly give them a second go .

Went there one Sunday for food and few drinks. What a lovely place! My Joe had a roast, big portion so if you're hungry that's where you need to go as it's not only a decent amount but I had a go at his food and I loved it. I had a steak pie and our friend had a chicken leek one and both meals were delicious 😋 nice staff as well. When we went there which was a midday it wasn't too busy, so if you don't like over crowded places this is just perfect. I'm definitely going back there. They've got a nice outside garden and whole place is overlooking a canal. What a great place!

We booked in for a late lunch and sat outside by the canal. We were warmly greeted and directed to our table. The waitress was friendly, polite and attentive. My husband had pie which he really enjoyed. I had lamb which was nicely seasoned and the gravy was delicious. Sadly we were to full for pudding but the choice looked very tempting. The price seemed reasonable. Thanks for a lovely meal.

After having moored up on the canal we thought we'd have a look to see if the Dusty Miller was open and it was. Even though they were busy getting a delivery of beer supplies, we were welcomed with a smile by Sue and Emmie (?). It is a warm and relaxing atmosphere and good music was on in the background but at a low volume which didn't over power conversation or the ambiance. The social distancing was well marked and explained by the staff and there was hand gel to clean your hands at the entrance too.My other half had a lovely Sauvignon Blanc and I had a fantastic pint of Citra ale once it had been connected to the bar hand pump from the cellar and didn't have to wait more than a couple of minutes for this to be brought to our table by Sue, the manageress.A couple walked in whilst we were being served at the bar counter and even though Sue welcomed them whilst serving us and said to them that she'd be with them in a few minutes or so, they just looked around and walked out again without a word or a thank you to Sue, odd people and quite rude we felt but you do get all odd sorts of people about i guess!!We'll definitely be back again and next time we'll have a meal too most definitely. Thanks Sue, Scott and Emmie (hope I remembered correctly?) for making us feel welcomed, relaxed and totally at home during our visit to your lovely pub.Let's hope the canal boaters start to pop in frequently now the Dusty Miller is finally opened again after Covid19.Good luck to all the staff and here's hoping you have a great summer ahead...

Such a friendly pub and the atmosphere is great! Such friendly staff and nothing is ever to much for them. Great on a sunny day to have your drink by the canal watching the boats go up and down.
