Only ordered from here as our usual Chinese was closed. Very disappointed. Over an hour and twenty minutes on a Tuesday, twenty minutes to drive 1.4 miles. Pork was fatty, chicken was rubbery. The lady who delivered the meal didn't even speak, let alone offer an apology. We won't be returning.

had salt and pepper chicken, it was very slimey and resulted in me throwing up for 8 hours and in hospital with food poisoning!! AVOID

What can I say, DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE, worst chinese in the world. How can a restaurant accept an order cook it and deliver it in 13 mins when I live 7 mins away? Chicken in the chow mein was slimey, beef in the black bean sauce couldn't even be called beef, more like lumps of fat in black bean sauce. Restaurant collected, let's just hope just eat will refund now.AGAIN DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE

I had food poisoining for four days after and as others have noted the food is cooked too quickly. Will never go here again.

Was good until a few nights ago. Asked for food to be well cooked and ended up with half-cooked chicken balls and my rice was swimming in oil. My partner and I ended up with 3days of feeling sick (food poisoning) after one mouthful of the chicken.

Why is there no option to give 0 stars? Wow, what can I say, £30 worth of food and everything was tasteless. Our usual Chinese (The Fortune House) was shut today so we thought we'd try The Empror, as it has a reasonably good reputation (no idea why). So, I'll try and rate the food out of 10.Plain noodles - 2/10 - very dry and bland, edible but tasteless.Salt and pepper beef - 0/10 - extremely dry, couldn't eat it as i couldn't bite the pieces. Everything ended up in the bin.Salt and pepper chicken - 4/10 - wasn't too bad, but definitely wouldn't have it again, probably every other Chinese in Crewe I've tried has better salt and pepper chicken.Prawns in chilli sauce - 5/10- the sauce wasn't a chilli sauce and wasn't spicy at all. It didn't taste bad but I wanted a chilli sauce!Chips - 8/10 - the only thing I enjoyed.I hope this helps everyone and you make the right choice - DO NOT ORDER FROM THE EMPROR CREWE.

Ordered yesterday for an 8pm delivery tonight & they must have been rushed off their feet but it was on time and delish! Thank you so much! Will be back always!

·

Warm but tasteless the satay and the curry very disappointing no taste at all and salt and pepper chips just salt, it says alot when the free prawn crackers are the most tasteful part, wont be ordering again

·

Just ordered our food, was told it would take around 45 mins but actually only took around 25-30 mins.Very nice people. You could pay over phone with card payment which you can’t with a lot of Chinese takeaways. Food was great so will definitely be ordering again. Thank you for a good service 😋

I can’t work out how to put less than 1 star because honestly 1 star is generous, me and my partner have just moved to the area and decided that tonight we would have a Chinese, the food took an hour and a half to arrive, it was lukewarm at best, spring rolls with minimal filling, prawn toast that was thin and soggy, oh and this all arrived in a fried chicken box with a soggy bottom too? We thought this was a Chinese!!! Anyway we ordered chicken and ham fried rice which we had to warm up and I ordered salt and pepper chicken, which in my opinion, was fried chick (kebab house style) that had been sliced up! The best part of the meal was when my partner said “let’s not eat this” and made us something else; AVOID!
