Had a very pleasant Sunday Roast. Everything cooked to perfection (nothing dry or mushy) Sorry I'm not local or I would never bother cooking another big roast again myself.

·

Lovely food, very busy so staff were not able to provide services that they want to. Good value and good food.

·

Cosy interior, good selection of real ales, reasonably priced menu, large car park, pleasant outdoor seating.

·

Great friendly local pub which serves a excellent choice of food, well recommended if in the area

·

A nice friendly pub with a large car park and good level access.High quality yet realistically priced food is offered and the bar is well stocked. They offer a range of draught beers and lagers including guest beers. The service is always friendly, as are the locals. Don't, drive past, drive in, park up and see for yourself.

Went there for some food with the family. Service was nice and we ordered. A few of us ordered Pie of the day with homemade gravy. We were given bolognaise with mash on the top and a spoonful of peas. Not what we expected at all and was a bit disappointing, considering the price. Think they just used up what they wanted rid of in the kitchen.

After a day walking around Delamere Forrest, and then a game of cricket, I was hungry when we got to The Farmers Arms.Service was great and friendly, and the beer garden was clean and nice, which is important as we had the family dog with us.My girlfriend and I ordered Pie & Mash with gravy, others in our party had Curry, burger and chips, sausage and mash, and fish and chips. Everything but our pie was well presented, and looked lovely. Our pies however were not pies. We had a small bowl of what seemed to be Bolognese meat, with some mash and a couple of flakes of cheese on top, with maybe a table spoon of peas, and no gravy. It was advertised as Pie with either chips or mash, with gravy and peas. It was extremely disappointing to get what we did, and we felt pressured into eating it, as we had been told the kitchen was soon closing, we were starving after a long day, and we were going back to the campsite, and tent.We would not recommend, or revisit The Farmers Arms, especially with so many nice pubs in the immediate area.

6 of us just been in for Fathers day lunch. Fantastic meals all round. The Sunday roast is perfect. Trio of meats, all cooked perfectly, lovely veg and proper gravy. Both burgers were lovely and great ribs and chicken.Greg the chef knows his stuff and it shows in the presentation and flavours of the food.Mac kept our drinks coming at the right time and checked all was ok.All in all a great meal and fantastic staff. We'll be back👍
