Great pub, with variety of beers on tap Food menu limited but very, very good. Very dog friendly and you are made to feel welcome too 😉 lots of events take place there and lovely outdoor seating area overlooking the lock.

Great dog friendly pub, plenty of choice of ales, we had hot chocolates aswell which were delicious according to my neice. Staff were friendly and polite and they have open mics, quiz night and live music twice a week. I'll defo be going back.

Again nice friendly pub that welcome dogs. Beer choice is good. Adequate car parking. Just beware of big puddles in car park.

Really great pub and beers. Shame the lack of a chef deprived us of food this time. If, when the food returns, it is as good as our last, pre pandemic, visit it will be brilliant.

Firstly, photos don't do the food here justice! The meals we ordered were incredible. All filling and of the best quality. The customer service was also amazing. We called the inn to book a table roughly half an hour before their kitchen closed, upon arriving, we were already fairly late, with half the group continuing down the canal to park up at Andersen Boats. The orders were given, and with no quibble or fuss, the staff set out making our meals at the chefs leaving time. (He's 17 by the way!) I was brought out a plate of stunning prawns, but as I wasn't there, they took it back, and the chef insisted he make a fresh batch for me upon my arrival with the rest of my group. They catered to our mistakes and lateness, which was hugely generous. The rest of the food and service was stunning alongside the ales and beer on tap.Photos are of the balsamic glazed bread with onion chutney and salad, and the sea bass and multi colour veg.
