Had expected more. Butchers very good but farm shop very average. Restaurant cold, several people eating in their coats which is not what I would expect for the price. Steak pie very good, cakes looked good. Service so slow 45 minutes from ordering to food arriving we didn't have time left to have a cake. Menu not really for us, more full meals to choose from we thought a lighter offering, quiche, sandwiches more fitting.

Brilliant food in the cafe , really top quality . Had the beef and mushroom pie which was so tasty . My wife had chicken wrap . Lovely again . Next time must try the hake which looked fantastic . Lovely farm shop attached with deli and butchers which again all looked so good ! Also nice play area for children . Well worth a visit and will be returning very soon .

Having been hyped in the Times last Saturday it was a let down to visit here. Not busy when we arrived but the table we sat at was in need of a good clean, as was the cushion which was covered in crumbs - you know the feeling when everything sticks to a surface.Ordered coffee & cakes but the couple who ordered breakfast having arrived after us were served before we got our cake.Surely cutting a couple of slices of cakes has to be quicker than plating up a breakfast?Cakes were good.Shop rather pricey but didn't have any gluten free produce or the Blackstick Blue cheese that was on offer - waiting for orders to come in.We won't be back; sorry.Hype better than the experience.

Food was very nice, slightly expensive. Tea & latte very nice. Young lady waitresses are most pleasant and polite.Table top looked clean but it felt sticky to the touch, however they are like that in many cafes it seems.Must be type of cleaner used. I will return though for more (with a scrapper 🤐😉)Well worth a visit. Enjoy.

Recommended to visit and was looking forward to checking out the cafe. However today about 14.00hrs the three of us in our party were completely ignored at the waiting area. At least five staff passed us or completely looked through us and although the cafe was slightly busy even a ' will be with you in a minute' would have at least helped!Judging by previous reviews this looks unusual but having reviewed many many establishments I can say this was genuinely the worse customer service to-date & as you can imagine we left & hence this deserved marking.

Incredible food and super friendly staff. The slow cooked lamb shank was a huge portion and absolutely delicious. The cakes are also a must try! Farm shop was full of goodies and reasonably well priced. We'll be visiting again for sure.

This place is worth a wholesome road trip to the countryside. There's ample parking. The menu is smallish bit surprisingly stylish, think goats cheese over ploughman's and Dahl over soup. There's vegan and gluten free options. There's also a farm shop that's worth a visit.

Lovely little farm shop with a really nice cafe attached. Produce is pricey but the meat (if you eat it) seems more reasonable. The cafe was the highlight for me, especially the chutneys that came with the meals. Staff were lovely. Slight wait for meals but well worth it for the taste.
