"It's great to be back! Thank you for your ongoing support over the last year. A few things to consider before you visit: Booking is not essential, though we would recommend you book in advance. Outdoor service is limited to guests in groups of six or two households (no limit on number) is permitted. Please note we may need to vary our opening hours and food service times given the time of year and the unpredictable nature of our Great British weather! Track and trace requirements have changed meaning all guests over 16 years of age must check in and provide their contact details. Unfortunately we must refuse service if guests do not comply. To get the most up-to-date notices on our re-opening, keep an eye on our Facebook page."

As a former resident of Prestbury, the Legh Arms was always an exceptional fillet steak meal, so we were extremely disappointed to find after travelling 15+ miles there that this was not available. In addition the menu was limited, my wife had the linguine and the prawns were barely cooked and I had the haddock with just about the worst "tartar" sauce I have ever had. Very disappointed and we won't be coming again.

We were lucky enough to stay at The Legh Arms in Prestbury for 2 nights this week. A family of 4 plus a Great Dane doesn’t always scream ‘ease’ and ‘comfort’ but we couldn’t have been better treated and more warmly welcomed at this wonderful establishment. The pub is beautiful, warm and inviting. Our family room had super easy access, was impeccably clean and was spacious enough for all of us plus a large dog. Staff are all extremely polite and can’t do enough for you. The quality of food and drink is second to none.2 very minor complaints. No salads on the menu (but it’s winter so I get it!) and we couldn’t extend our stay for an extra night 🤣.We’ll be back as soon as we can, we loved it!The Labreys (and Maverick)

A really lovely pub. Restaurant area is very nice with a good atmosphere. Service was very good. The staff members we met were extremely friendly and welcoming. Good quality drinks and good selection to choose from. Food was delicious. We'll be returning very soon.

Just had a 7 night stay here, we are locals, and the new management are superb, friendly, professional and helpful, and have got a brilliant team who go above and beyond. Breakfast is amazing, and the rooms are cosy, warm , comfortable and well appointed. Highly recommend 👌 👍

So glad the excellent chef Craig Sherrington has moved to the Legh Arms. The food was delicious as expected and the service was friendly. Tables were well spaced. A most enjoyable evening!

First time here visiting from Poynton. Great family and dog friendly pub. Great selection of beers and the wife was happy with the fantastic gin selection. Staff very friendly also. Will definitely be visiting again 👍🏻

Attractive pub in affluent area. Unfortunately they have staffing issues at the moment. No Sunday Roasts and food service finishes at 2pm. Staff were unable to say when normal service would resume.

The pub and the hotel are fantastic Food is great. Rooms are beautiful, comfortable and so clean. Every single member of staff is delightful. We have stayed before and took 4 friends this time. None of them were disappointed and would definitely stay again.

Superb experience. Great location in the beautiful village of Prestbury. Plenty of free parking at the rear. Great friendly service and tasty food. Quality food at an affordable price. Chicken burger served with bacon on a brioche bun with chunky onion rings served with chunky chips or fries £14. The menu is changed daily. Vegetarians are catered for and often the chef will add a special, just ask Stuart the landlord. Service is prompt and the waitresses are full of smiles, friendly and helpful too. I have only been here once, but would certainly be making a return visit. Recommended 6 stars!!

Stayed here last night as attending a family function nearby. Amazing little gem of a pub!! Staff are fabulous, helpful and friendly! Room was great….. fantastic bathroom, very comfortable bed and lots of tea and coffee and a little bottle of beer! Breakfast was fantastic! Full English arrived piping hot, so much I couldn’t finish it all! Tea and coffee was plentiful as was the fresh juice. Would thoroughly recommend, we had a lovely time thank you!!!
