·

Fantastic country pub. Lovely seating inside and out. Food was great and very reasonable priced. Cask ale was spot on and staff were polite and very efficient! Definitely going back and would recommend everyone to try it for themselves.

·

Superb lunch, for oldies and teens. Dog and (well behaved) puppy friendly

·

Average food, small menu with not a lot of choice. Staff were friendly though. Not particularly warm, had a real fire but wasn't in use. Did like the fact it was a traditional pub and they do keep the beer well. I'd go back for drinks but wouldn't go back to eat.

·

Great place, very welcoming, the food was lovely and the service was brilliant too

·

The good reviews brought us to the pub, nice location, quiet place, and that’s all the good things I can say about it. The food was disappointing. It might be a good pub for drinks, not for food, it is not homemade food is more like frozen food, the chips are frozen and the gravy was congealed

·

Best pub around. Great food, drinks and staff. Definitely give it a visit, I'll be going back. Thanks for fantastic hospitality

A. Good Sunday roast in a pleasant country setting.Reasonably priced Sunday roast, served until 5pm... a little early to close.. could do with staying open later. Very near the Premier Inn at Tytherington where we were staying and fancied a meal somewhere more interesting and rural than the Beefeater next door. This fit the bill perfectly.

·

Delicious food, great service, really clean. Lovely pub, can't fault it! And just off the Middlewood Way.

·

Nice set up. I didn't eat but the Sunday Roast looked really nice. Good selection of beer and a lovely view.

Small, dog friendly pub, a few hundred yards west of bridge 29 on the Macclesfield canal. Serving real ale and draught beer with a small but excellent wine cellar, the one downside on the drinks menu only bottled cider stocked. The restaurant menu is small but the quality and portion size is excellent, you will not leave still feeling hungry. This is one of the best pubs I have visited in Cheshire and will be on my visit list whenever am in the Macclesfield area.
