Very cosy village pub with a lovely warm welcome even though we were late arriving for our 2pm reservation. I didn’t eat but friends did, and it all looked delicious. Will be back for sure.

Great food, great service. Lovely cosy atmosphere with a roaring fire after a 6 mile walk. Best pilsner I've ever tasted on tap. What more could you ask for?!

We had Braised beef, Aberdeen Angus it was chewyand hard to eat, Mash potatoes with the meat anda thin gravy way over priced and we were very disappointed. The meal for two with no starter or desert, I had two pints and my wife a glass of red wine medium. Total Bill £56 way over priced.Service was good and a lovely pud/ restaurant but wont go again in the future.

Lovely pub. We booked it for the reception part of our babies baptism. The owners were so accommodating with our requests, went above and beyond to ensure dietary requirements were met and really put our mind at ease that everything would be sorted. We had a lovely time and guests complimented the food and said what a lovely cosy feeling the pub had (they were sat adjacent to the log fire!). We also had someone say they wished they new they had rooms to book as they would've loved to stay longer!Can highly recommend and can't praise the staff enough. A must visit.

Cosy set up and staff very welcoming. I will visit again. Catered well for my friends baby shower. And we're great at a range of foods for dairy and gluten intolerance.

Very nice cosy pub, with friendly staff. A few of us call in after a motorcycle ride and were made very welcome. The menu looked really good, will be calling in for lunch sometime.

A cracking little pub/restaurant that is full of character and charm. Excellent food and service and staff that could not do enough to make sure our experience of the pub was 1st class. I would highly recommend this hidden gem of a pub.

A lovely welcoming pub. Nice and relaxed and homely. Superb delicious food, very generous portions and not a long wait. Will be back again soon
