So happy that the Shroppie is open again. Chris and Damien are fabulous hosts. Dog friendly in a stunning location on Audlem wharf.

The landlady, Lucy, is always lovely and very attentive. We had Sunday lunch (roast beef) and it was absolutely delicious. The meat was cooked to perfection, the veg was clearly fresh and the home made Yorkshire puds were fab! I even got extra gravy, that was also delicious. Highly recommended 👌

We use the Shroppie frequently for a drink and a relaxed sit by the canal side to watch the world go by.We meet some lovely people there to chat to, this is a nice place for people with dogs to visit, keep an eye on young children however as the seating is canalside and a deep lock nearby.Usually a good variety of beers on and the staff are lovely.See you again soon.Dave n Jill

One of the best pubs I've ever visited. Run by the lovely Lucy and her super staff. Great food and lovely location on the canal side. Friendly locals and passing boaters made our holiday. Can't wait for a chance to return.

Loved the Shroppie Fly the first time we came through Audlem although we think it's changed hands since then, not sure?We didn't have a meal but the pint of ale was perfect and the Pinot Grigio for my better half was great as well.Such a lovely location, atmosphere and lovely staff too...thanks to all and hopefully we'll be back soon when next we chug along to Audlem... all the locks first before we can pop into the Shroppie Fly for a well deserved wee drink....

Lovely atmosphere. Great food and great ale. I highly recommend it. The best burgers I've had in the UK so far. They make their own chips in-house and that is a sign that their food is top quality. Their servings are also ample.

The food is good, though the choice could be a little wider. The staff were helpful and friendly. The maps of old audlem on the wall were interesting, ....Car parking was good...But you go here for the setting.Right on the canal in the middle of Audlem locks.Usually you get to see at least a couple of narrow boats going through.
