·

Decent spot with a ski-chalet theme. Cracking gins, and decent yet narrow selection of ales.

·

Funky little bar, unique styling, nice beers. Lots of items are a little worn down or broken through use though. It could use a day or two's TLC and some replacement games/etc but, highly recommended.

·

Cosy pub offering bar snacks, great for meetups and for some casual board games. Seasonal drinks like the mulled cider are always good and the bar snacks (usually locally made pork pies and other nibbles) are great. A little on the expensive side for the area, though.

Epic food. Great atmosphere and friendly staff too!

Just in town for a few hours, but liked the look of the place as I rode past, so went back to visit.Unfortunately they had a pop up kitchen that evening, so they weren't doing lunch, plus a few beers were off due to line cleaning (quiet time). However they were incredibly friendly and welcoming to me, allowing me to bring my own food in to eat, and as a result I spent a few relaxing hours there. If I'm in town again I'll definitely be going back.

amazing atmosphere but limited menu. the food taste great as well

A pub with an alpine theme in a market town in Cheshire, you say? Well, actually, yes. It is best in the winter half of the year (which, let's face it, lasts about 9 months here) because they will have open fires and all. Also: regular live music (and not the forgettable kind either). And interesting beers on tap. Absolutely worth a visit.

Excellent ski lodge vibe pub with great beers. They often host live music. They have an outdoor area for when it's sunny and a fire inside if there's more of a chill. Set over 2 floors this place is always comfortable I could easily sit in here for a full day without knowing it

Such a nice bar for a drink. They have some great evening events, some wonderful local beers and beautiful china for tea. The pub is very homely inside, with sofas and log fires, which make it very inviting on a cold winters night. The staff are lovely and the resident dog is very well behaved and a delightful addition. The decor inside is so well done, and they use the wall space to showcase some great local artists!

Great place selling great beer. Try the beers from Storm Brewery, they are brewed literally round the back of the Snowgoose.
