The Station Pilot in Cheshire East

Real bad today, edging towards an hour from ordering to getting served, no apology and food was not piping hot which might of mitigated the wait.Unforgivable when the place is quiet, will be some time until we venture back.Won't be calling you, strange request, you were not interested whilst we were there, so Won't be coming back any time soon - resolved.

Another great visit! Visit regularly for a drink and occasionally for a meal. I believe they have recently had a new chef as we were advised the wait time might be a little longer as they had a new member of the team in the kitchen. Food arrived within about 20 minutes and was piping hot and beautifully presented. We had the cod, and two pies. The staff were friendly and very helpful, the food was tasty and food value for money and the pub was spotlessly clean. Looking forward to our next visit!

we had a table booking for 23 people. food and service was excellent. all food came out at the same time. every was said how lovely the foods was. the team looked after us so well. as a big group we couldn't of asked for more

Absolutely shocking! There was a big group of us, waiter was lovely but food was shocking! Curry was Luke warm! One guest had plastic in hers after waiting absolutely ages, when approached manager, she was argumentative and rude and disagreed with what we were saying, one steak was sent back due to being over cooked and then came back exactly the same! Definitely none of us will be going again! Shame for the Birthday girlEdit* just to clarify nobody was abusive to any other customers!! There was 3 other people near us, one of which was returning her own meal and smiled at us! The lady who went to the bar because the manager didn’t come over after being asked to, never raised her voice once. I could say more but i won’t

This is a great family orientated pub and the staff are really nice. If it has a downside it is the food which is definitely take out of the fridge and heat up. It's edible and I would go again because overall it is a nice place to go, especially as a family. Nice visible play area outside and inside.

Disappointing. Tried to order mixed grill, but they were out of it - on a Friday evening - you might expect a full menu. Ordered sirloin steak instead, medium. Arrived barely warm, and overcooked. Mushroom was crispy. Not sure how to cook a mushroom like that! Had to ask for steak knives. Not offered condiments. We've had lunches there, and they've been ok. Reluctant to try an evening meal there again. Dog enjoyed takeout steak though.

Came in to the Station Pilot after work for a few drinks.Abi and the rest of the staff are always friendly and polite, and can’t do enough to help you in anyway.I would definitely recommend The Station Pilot as an all round friendly pub.We perused the new menu and we can honestly say that we will be back for food.It’s a five ⭐️ from us.

Went to this pub with a friend and the service was a disappointment we were told that we had five minutes to order food before they stopped serving it. It was only 7.30pm..We ordered two sharers and when they came out, there was only enough for one person each. I ordered nachos I was very disappointed the salsa was chilli sauce no cheese. if there was it had disappeared. I think that this pub needs to retrain there staff in presentation and portion sizes. Also I ordered a latte it was half full and cold.. I Would have complained but there were no staff at the bar to complain too. I will not recommend this pub to anyone

Went at a really quiet time but every time we went to the bar there was one person serving and about four of us waiting. The table was somehow dirty when we arrived 5 minutes after opening and our main plates were only taken away once dessert was brought over. Food did come really quickly but I expected slightly better service on a Tuesday lunch in half term.

Not many onion rings or chips, but after that burger I don't think I could have fitted anymore in!
